Happy Friday, everybody. I’m always happy to see the weekend come, but they always seem to fly by too quickly.

Danielle is back home after a night of feeding, and she doesn’t appear ready to kick back and relax. How deep into blood lust has Danielle gone? How long will it take for her to snap out of it?

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
Never seen her like this before think the forced separation is eating her up. So she's eating others up did she sire another Vamp, kill him or make him a thrall. She will hate herself tomorrow for lack of restraint.
She's enjoying herself
Bite size snack.
Happy Friday, everybody. Danielle is showing us a side we’ve never seen, and it isn’t good. She is in the clutches of blood lust the likes of which she has never experienced. This could very well be the point of no return for Danielle. Let’s hope not.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
Yeah ordering her around isn't wise
Happy Friday, everybody.

Danielle continues her night out and she appears determined to paint the town red - one neck at a time. Just how far will she go?

Have a great weekend, and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
I think they see her or the light does
Happy Monday, everybody. My apologies for being so late with this page, but I was overly ambitious with these two panels and I greatly underestimated how much time they would take. Add that to a busy Memorial Day weekend schedule and the result is three days tardy.

There were actually going to be five panels to this page, but I haven’t even gotten beyond the pencil stages for those last three. They will be the next page, which I hope will be posted on Friday, June 8.
This is shaping up to be a very busy summer. My wife’s brother and sister-in-law are driving down the Alaska Highway in their RV. They plan on spending two weeks with us in August. We have a spare room that is currently crammed with all sort of stuff. We are getting rid of a lot of it and turning the room into a guest room for their visit. Like most jobs, this one will probably be more involved than it looks. I’m not complaining. My wife only gets to see her brother once every five or six years, and he is her only sibling. I’ll do whatever is needed to make their visit as enjoyable as possible. Family is important.

So, if I’m late with the next few pages, it will be due to the real world dominating my time.

Thanks for your patience and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
Happy Saturday, everybody. My apologies for not posting last evening, but it has been a busy week.

Danielle is still on an adrenalin rush from her “visit” with Johnny Taglia, and doesn’t want the night to end. In her present mood, Danielle’s idea of a good night out won’t be very pleasant for anyone she encounters.

Have a great weekend and a wonderful Mothers Day.

Thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
Happy Saturday, everybody. This page took a lot longer than I thought it would, but I still managed to get it done in time to post Friday night. Unfortunately, I was unable to log in on Smack Jeeves until this morning. I don't know if the problem was with the website or on my end, but everything appears to be working now.

Danielle has found a quiet place to contemplate her actions in the federal prison cell of Johnny Taglia. I’m not sure she regrets getting her pound of flesh all that much. In fact, I think she enjoyed it. Maybe a little too much.

Have a great weekend, and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
That's quite the warning. Good to hear everything is getting better
Happy Friday the 13th, everybody. I can’t think of a more appropriate day for Danielle to make her triumphant return.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a page. Most of you know that my wife had breast cancer surgery in early January. The surgery was a success, but Kathy had to have twenty-one radiation treatments and will follow that with medication for the next ten or fifteen years. The good news is Kathy is expected to make a full recovery, but she will have to endure fatigue for the next few months. Kathy is gradually getting back to her old self and the good days seem to out number the bad ones. Being the impatient type, she wants to get back to normal quickly, but she knows when to sit down and rest. Not only is she tough, my wife is also smart enough to know when to listen to her body.

Anyway, things around the house have settled down enough for me to get a page done. I’m going to try to get back to the page-every-two-weeks schedule. Thanks to everyone for your patience and support over the past couple months.

Have a great weekend.
Just found out
Hi Jay,
Checked in on DD for first time in a while, got up to speed on what had happened over these past weeks.
Relieved to hear that things are going well.
You and Kathy are in our thoughts and prayers.
Happy Friday, everybody! It’s great to be able to post an new page. Well, a new filler, anyway. Danielle was quite the fashion plate in the early 1950s when she lived in New York City. I think it would be fun to do more fillers with Danielle dressed in period clothing. What do you think?

I am happy to say that my wife is doing very well. Today she had her eighteenth radiation treatment. Kathy has three more scheduled treatments. After that, she will have periodic examinations to determine if the treatments have done their job. All indications at this time is for a successful outcome.

The treatments started to have a tiring effect on Kathy after the second week of radiation. I’m sure the daily trips to and from the hospital contributed to the fatigue. Kathy has been such a trooper though this whole event. Her positive attitude and strong will has been inspiring. She is quite a lady, and to be married to her makes me the luckiest guy in the world.

Many of you have expressed your concern for Kathy, and she and I want to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts.
No worries, post when you can
Happy Friday, everybody. And it is, indeed, a very happy Friday. My wife had breast cancer surgery two weeks ago and had a tumor and some surrounding tissue removed. The surgeon also removed some of Kathy’s lymph nodes for testing. The lymph nodes were found to be cancer-free, and so was the surrounding tissue. Today we learned that the type of cancer Kathy has is of low risk for recurring. While she won’t need to have chemotherapy, my wife will be receiving radiation treatments five days week for four weeks. This will make my work schedule a bit hectic because the hospital is an hour’s drive away. I don’t care. That’s a small price to pay to make sure Kathy gets the treatments she needs.

I am also very happy to post this wonderful filler courtesy of Dragonaur. If you aren’t familiar with Dragonaur’s work, be sure to check out the links below. Both comics are great!

I’ll try to post a filler and an update when ever I can, but between a full-time job and daily trips to the hospital, I’ll be busy for a while.

Thanks for your patience, and as always, thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
Y'know, I could almost feel sorry for Jimbo, there, almost. Who knows how many people he, or his goons, have pummeled, much less, killed. I'd like to see the looks on the guard's faces when he doesn't show for brekky in the morning and they see he's had the stuffing beaten out of him.
I usually post a Christmas themed page this time of year before taking a couple weeks off before resuming the comic after the New Year has begun. Unfortunately, updates may be a bit sporadic for a few weeks or, perhaps, a few months.

On Monday, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Last week, Kathy had a biopsy which turned out to be positive. She is scheduled to be seen by a oncology specialist next Tuesday. At that time we will find out what the next step will be. The biopsy has shown Kathy has DCIS, or Ductal Carcinoma In Situ. The one upside to her diagnosis is this sort of cancer has a very high cure rate, and the tumor was found at an early state. For that, I am very thankful. Regardless, cancer treatment can be physically taxing, so I know there will be some difficult times ahead.

Please be patient with me in this trying time. Kathy is a strong-willed lady, and she has an incrediblly positive attitude. I am a very lucky guy to have her in my life.

Thank you for your readership, and I look forward to getting back to a regular update schedule.
Happy Friday, everybody.

I really wanted to get a page done this week, but it was not to be. The month of November has been a busy one for me. Between my wife’s birthday on the 7th, an early Thanksgiving dinner with part of my family on the 11th, my mom’s 90th birthday on the 18th and another Thanksgiving dinner on the 23rd, I’m lucky to have been able to get anything done.

This filler is just part of the first panel of the upcoming page. I had hoped to get the entire first panel completed, but I’m trying to get this uploaded before dinner. I think it’s turning out pretty good, but it should look better when I get all the highlights and shadows put in.

For those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving, I hope you had as good a time with your families and friends as I did. Have a great weekend, and thanks for reading Danielle Dark.
