And with page 168, we reach the end of chapter 3, as well as volume 1 of My Finn.
This comic is taking a break!
I'm going on vacation for a few weeks, aside from that I will also take some extra time to finish color illustrations for the beginning of volume 2. And while I'm at it, I'm probably also going to redraw some panels that did not turn out quite right when I first drew them here and there in volume 1...
Anyway, watch this spot, I will keep you posted!

Hey guys!
Today I want to announce a decision of mine that was not all that easy for me to make. Starting today, I am going to change this comic's updating schedule to three times a week, which means new pages will from now always be added on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
If you have been following this comic for a while you will know that I have been shamefully unreliable about updating on time in the past (and already cut back on updates once *blush*), and I feel bad about that. As the realization has sunk in that while I am viewing this comic mostly as a leisure activity I am still annoying my readership whenever I don't update on schedule, I have made the new year's resolution to be more professional with my comic, and be more reliable. At the same time, January has brought with it a sudden increase in workload for me (not that I'm complaining, mind you, making money is always a bonus) so after some pondering I have decided that changing the schedule to three pages a week is the best option for this comic at the moment. I'm confident that updates will be more reliable, you will not be disappointed anymore and I will have more time left to cook some proper meals for myself, and stare at the wall in my free time. Hooray, everybody wins!
Anyway, thank you for your understanding.
(PS I'm going to update the schedule stated on the banner at the top some other time, please don't let that confuse you.)

I spent the better part of yesterday checking over old pages and trimming some of the dialogue. After much editing, I think the comic is slightly more readable now! Hooray.

Sorry, bit late again today!
I know some of you really want Finn to appear again... sadly you will have to be patient for a little longer as it seems the boy has decided to hold off his great entrance, at least for now. Seriously, where'd he go?!
Anyway, as I'll be gone over christmas and until new years, this comic will take a small festive break in which I will eat lots of cookies and probably be hung over a few times. Let's hope this will help charge my creative batteries in some fashion...
I'll be back on monday, January 2nd! I hope y'all have a merry christmas and that you safely make it to 2012. Greetings~

Chapter 1 concludes with some trivia about Glenn. Do you recognize that landmass?
It has been brought to my attention that "Glenn" actually means "valley", which I suppose is an odd name for a country, but what can you do.
And please be impressed with my Sütterlin! I had to learn this style of writing in elementary school and decided to unearth my knowledge for this comic. Incidentally, due to it being the author's native language, the lingua franca in the world of My Finn is German. =P
I wish everyone a fun April 1st, please only fall for clever pranks!
