Accepting Author Applications

Welcome to the third installment of the spriter's showcase!

1.Give credit for any and all sprite sheets.

2.Treat all other authors with respect. Critique is fine. Flaming isn’t.

3.Stick to a posting schedule. (Whatever works for you. Just don’t post one thing and go missing for a month.)

4.No adult content.

5. No recolors or very easy edits are to be posted, this rule is only in place to keep you from getting flamed/trolled. Recolors are looked down upon in this comic.

6. Spriters must have at least some experience with sprites before applying to join. If they do not, their application will be denied.

7. Flaming, spam, and arguing in the comments will not be tolerated, and will be deleted.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, drop a PM my way.

Probably the biggest necro post ever
Hi! Someone in my Myspace group shared this website with us so I came to look it over. I'm definitely loving the information. I'm bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Great blog and terrific design and style. ackdedegefeg
Blah blah, made Knuckles Joe look like he does in the anime. Edited the face, removed the shoulder pads, and removed his sleeves. Original sprite is from Kirby Super Star Ultra. If you wanna make a full sheet, contact me and give me credit.
The sprite is incredible, but the nine-tailed form looks awkward it kinda looks like he's in front of a bush. Its an interesting gimmick, if not at least slightly influenced by Naruto, or is it more from Japanese lore?
Critiques please.
Critiques please. I'm not very good at sonic style.
Not really fond of sonic style sprites but eeehhh.. I needed it for a comic soo.... honk.
The shading on both of them is literally retarded.
The design is just great, but the shading ruins it.
And MAN, what happened to this place? It's deserted.
The readability on these two is severely lacking. There is no hue shifting, poor contrast, confusing shading, and jagged line art. Each element serves to undermine the overall piece.

For a conceptual stand point the Golems are fun and intriguing. I would like to see you make another attempt at this. Taking into consideration the artistic elements listed above.
@NME: I've been thinking of starting a comic, made a couple pages to get the feel of things. It's certainly been a while since I last made any sprite comics.
Very nice. I have to say that your work has made a big impression on me.

May I ask, is this for some upcoming project of yours? A comic or a game perhaps? I would love to see more of your art.
Aside from some pillow shading in some areas, these are pretty good.
Ok wow, who made these? They're gorgeous!
The hair is somewhat confusing to me. It does not adjust accordingly with the turning of the head. It looks weird having stagnate hair when the rest of the head moves. Almost like the hair is on some kind of a swivel system.

Also, why is the resolution of the tie (perhaps it's a scarf) different when you scale the sprite?

The "eye thing" looks pretty good to me. There are some jagged edges on the underside, and differing resolutions in the larger scale version. But overall it's a really cool concept. I hope to see more of this kind of thing in the future from you. Good job.
nice 1. i like the new but i miss the old
So like, I'm back and what ever.

If you can guess who this is you get the comfort of you knowing who this is.

Anywho yeah, scratch again, cept' for the hands.

The hair was a pain in the ass.

If you're wondering what the eye thing is, I honestly don't know, I made it out of boredom ..
