Help with in silence

Postby StarSea » November 17th, 2017, 10:22 am

Hi, I have a few issues with this template but I have no idea how to fix it. I want to change the background from grey to an image, delete the light gray pattern above it, and change the website name at the top to a picture. Here's the page: http://officialnf.smackjeeves.com/

where do I have to go to change this and what do i do? thank you!
here's the html for overall layout, since I think it has something to do with that.
Spoiler! :

You can use [code] tags instead of [spoiler] for code, it puts it in a nice, easier-to-read form.

Find this line:
Code: Select all
</head>

That is the code that closes the head portion of the page. Right above it, add this code:
Code: Select all
<style>

</style>

Between those tags, put your CSS overrides, the custom CSS rules that will take precedence over the default CSS.

To change the background:
Code: Select all
body {
background: url("http://BackgroundImageURL");
}

This will take care of both the grey background and the light grey image, as it completely overrides the original background.

To change the header, you'll need to edit the HTML rather than the CSS. Fortunately, this is even easier! In Overall Layout, find
Code: Select all
<h1><a href="{SITE_URL_FULL}" title="{SITE_NAME}">{SITE_NAME}</a></h1>

Replace with
Code: Select all
<a href="{SITE_URL_FULL}" title="{SITE_NAME}"><img src="htp://HeaderImageURL"></a>
