yes I agree. It comes up with a link to a downloading website (media fire) and when I download them they save as a Chrome HTML document, but when you open them in chrome you don't get the code but what each code does...

if there's any way to fix this, please let me know~

I seem to be having the same problem as Lazy-lil-Ninja.

I've been eyeing 'Dust' for weeks. Is it too late to ask for the code itself?

Yeah, I wouldn't mind the templates to Cold. Those HTML files just have samples, not actual plug-and-play code. Being completely brainless when it comes to code, I put the source code to each HTML doc into my templates and now my entire comic's borked!

Hi guys!!

The downloads still do include the codes themselves, as far as I can tell. The problem may be that I saved them with .htm extensions (probably a bad decision on my part). So don't open them up in your web browser -- you'll have to explicitly open them with a text editing program instead, such as Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit* (Mac). You can do this by right-clicking the files > Open with... > (editor of your choice).

*If you use TextEdit you have to do an extra step. I think it's something like TextEdit > Open File > then uncheck 'rich text'? I can't confirm right now, not on a Mac at the moment.

If you try to open them just by double-clicking, the default is usually set such that they open in your web browser, which I think is the problem?

If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll try to get back to you.

I tried this, but all i got was this jibberish like when you put japanese/russian into a word document that doesn't have the font.

so then I went into the folder and tried to open each one again, and it still would only let me view them with firefox/chrome.

thank you for responding, though!

I used [sleepless] for a while and now, I switched to [anhedonia]. Thank you so much for making those layouts ! They're awesome.

Hello!

I have a little question from "Cold" which I'm using for my upcoming comic as a modified version here

http://operationgyro.smackjeeves.com/

Is there any way of changing the rate pictures? I've been trying to figure it out but the code seems different from the default one so.. I'm a bit helpless. If you could answer at some point it would be awesome! For now, the little houses will need to do obviously.

If you look in the Overall Layout code of the template, there should be two lines like the following (if it's not there, try looking in the Comic Page code):

Code: Select all
        var pic_unselected = "http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v23/kanjii/smackjeeves/cold/vote-unselected.gif";
        var pic_selected = "http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v23/kanjii/smackjeeves/cold/vote-selected.gif";

Change the URLs to the URLs of the images you want.
