Alrighty. In order to keep my imagination hot, and my creative juices running like juicey juice on a hot day, I am going to attempt to sketch something, anything, daily.

It could be guesture drawings, sketches, character designs, or whatever I feel like

>.< Anyway, without further ado, here is a sketch I just did. There is a guy stealing a freshly made sandwich, the first old man I have EVER drawn, and exaggerated expressions XD

Critisism and pointers are appreciated.

For today, I drew some guesture sketches- in my next post, and some fan art for the marvelous webcomic, selkie :)

Here is selkie herself. She stars in her own webcomic right here :) (not by me) http://www.selkiecomic.com/

For today, here are some dragony sketches. I just watched How to Train your dragon for the millionth time, and it always inspires me to draw!!

Sidenote: Would anyone prefer me putting all of these in spoilers? I figured I would just do for art dumps.. but what do you think?

Thank you! :) Since I am starting my very first webcomic ever, I am trying my best to not go wrong at the start, and use all generic anime expressions.

If you don't mind(If it's inconvenient, you don't havta) But can you tell me if my expressions are alright in my comic, or too static? Not a reveiw, but just an opinion maybe? :?

Well I'm not the best person to ask for comic advice haha, compared to someone with a better level of knowledge (like eishiya) I'm sure she wouldn't mind giving some pointers if you asked.
Also don't feel that your first comic has to be perfect and such (mine certainly wasn't), they are greatly useful as a means of practice for composition/panelling/font (on the last pages I see you're doing the writing by hand, which is good and readable, although at some places it looks like it barely fitted the space, so be sure to prepare the text in advance)

For the character expressions, yeup it's fine, I can make out which is an angry face or scarred to death face there :D, I'm guessing you're leaning away from using too much simplified manga expressions right? (which you used a lot in the first few pages) using ref can help, taking picture of yourself doing certain expressions and using that as a guide can also be useful.

edit: also using textures and gradients like in the cover page tends to be frowned upon! so avoid that at all cost

OMG OMG OMG!! :o How oh how did I miss two days!!!?? :( Well.... I just finished this, so it will have to count for yesterday, and now I will owe myself at least 2 sketches tommorow.

This is my sketch for the SJ Collab number 10. My theme was LUCK.
Therefore, she is a big boobed leprechaun lady, with a 4 leaf clover, a ladybug, a pair of fuzzy dice, and a horseshoe staff. :D

Alright. Today, I have done a page of guesture sketches, or attempts at such. I was reading about them, and they are harder to do than they look Xp

After that, I started sketching the people around me. I hate the tall man, because he looks like he is leaning severely. I like the man with the beard down in the corner :) He was nice. Didn't know I drew him tho ;p
I also did a few emotion studies.

Lastly, here is a pretty doodle I did in design camp last year instead of watching weird french animations in the morning.
