Artist Looking for Writer

Postby Hellish-Panda » July 11th, 2012, 8:57 pm

Hello! I'm Dan and I'm looking to collaborate with a writer to bring my webcomic to life. I posted the first page, and obviously have a general idea of what I want, but I don't really know how to put my thoughts into a script. Feel free to check it out to get a better idea of what the main concept of the story is.

Synopsis thus far:
- Ancient greek statue of an angel breaks apart and reveals a young boy
- I have no idea what else it's about ;__;

Can I see a sample of your drawing style?
What genres are you interested in?

My website deviantArt can be found here: http://hellish-panda.deviantart.com/
The main genres I'm looking to incorporate in this story are those of fantasy, drama, and components of a psychological thriller/possibly horror. I;m still very open to ideas though!

Exactly as Amam said, gender has nothing to do with writing; there are many men who are good at writing emotionally (Nicholas Sparks for example) and many women who are good with action (J.K. Rowling, Cassandra Clare, Suzanne Collins for example).

I've never seen a man read a Harliquen(?) romance nor have I seen a woman read Louis L'amore(western) or Robert E. Howard.(Conan the Barbarian)

You need to expand your horizons, mate. Pretty sure a lot of women have read those books, and i personally know men who read sappy romances for fun. But then, I'm fairly certain that you're trolling at this point.

Also, a decent chunk of those Harlequin novels, as well as a lot of modern romance novels? Were written by men using a feminine or gender-neutral psuedonym.
