Destress isn’t your average SJ comic. Not only is the art super distinctive from the start but also the storyline is something you don’t read in the everyday virtual pages of internet comics nowadays. The names of the characters are really creative and the monster concepts are dynamic.

It takes place in a purgatory world called Mionfaer where misguided souls end up to atone for unpaid sins from their previous lives. Page one slaps you with the main characters “Mags” a mute, noble-hearted magician who seems to be tormented by a guilty conscious or memory of the past, and Razmarus a short tempered, sadistic individual with a knack for justice and violence. The character development is by far superb and the back stories and intricacies of the world they live in keeps you reading to the last updated page wishing for more. I wont go into too much of the plot…just go read IT.

To me this is like an action/mystery comic because from page one the questions I have begin to stack up. The author gives subtle clues and hints of information to the reader but it is up to the reader to pick up on them and interpret them as the see fit. Its one of those stories where every time you read it you will find a new clue and feel really accomplished for picking up on it. Definitely a must read…

Oh! I agree, DeStress needs to be spotlighted! There's amazing worldbuilding, characters with a lot of depth, and the plot, oh! I'm always on edge, trying to figure out what's going to happen, and worrying... so much worrying. I love the art and designs as well! interesting, and unique, and graphic. This comic is just, hnng!

The Admin does. I'm sure there's some bias since he does have the site's image to uphold. I think it's understandable.
