Meh, I'll win more over later. The only thing that bugs me about losing a fan is still not having a proper fanlist sorting so I never know who's new and who's jumped ship.

I occasionally copy/paste my fan list to a word document I have saved, because sometimes the number stays the same but the people who comprise the list have changed- like I'll lose one fan but then gain another one. In a lot of instances it occurred without me even noticing when it happened :/

I keep said list because I'm a pedantic loser and swoon too hard when I gain a new fan. It also helps to see which people just removed my comic from their favorites versus users who were banned/deleted their accounts.

But after the list gets longer than 108 or something, you won't be able to do that any more D: You'll get get a random sampling of your fans.
Question: Is is really that important? How come it interests you? (I think this might be off-topic, should I make a new topic for it? Do we have a topic on this?)

I haven't done anything today |D I should get back to writing, I don't like not doing anything. But agh I hate writing the climax for things like this since it can't just be a big battle or debate or anything. I actually have to think, haaah.

I would reload the page until I got them all :?
Honestly, it really is because I am that pedantic, like I said in my other post :P I sometimes like to go to my fans' profiles to see what other comics they like, or to check in and see if the person's even active on SJ anymore. I guess for me it's kind of like how when you're a billionaire, a few thousand dollars is pocket change and if you lose it, big deal, whereas if I lost 20 bucks I'd be concerned where it got to. Who knows, maybe someday I'll have enough fans that it will stop registering to me how cool it is. But now I think it's really new and neat and cool that these 26 separate individual real people liked my comic enough to add it to their list of favorites, and I like knowing whether they just liked it now or whether they've liked it for a while, and whatever else I can glean from their profile about them as individual people.

Opened MS for the first time in months and did an appraisal of where I left off so I can get back on track. Time to roll up my sleeves and dust off the tablet.

Finally read through this entire thread and decided I wanted to join in on the fun! :D

I successfully decided on some standard outfits for my non robot characters! Was very hard to do as their clothing is very symbolic to the lifestyle they live!

Posted page F3. It was supposed to go up 1 April, but my old computer broke, then I tried to get the old, finished file back but the hard drive isn't compatible with my new computer, then I thought I would wait until I bought an old computer so it would work, but I was shipped the wrong one and the company, US Electronics, is full of assholes and getting a refund was like pulling feet (imagine how hard it is to pull teeth out of someone's mouth, with your bare hands, then imagine how hard it would be to pull someone's feet off of their legs), so I decided to go ahead and redo the page. I think the new version may be better than the original.

Anyway, I'm not going to take any chances and wait until the official update day (Sunday). I'm updating now, just in case something bad happens again.

I've finished two more chapters of my script edit. I'm literally two chapters away from finishing the edit as well. It's officially doubled in length at least and I'm going to be truly amazed if I can keep drawing it long enough to reach the end.

The fact I'm so close to being done with the script both excites me (because I can start thumbnailing) and scares the crap out of me (because I can start thumbnailing). Does anyone else ever feel like that about their projects?

That's how I'm feeling right now ;___;

I need to do a draft of thumbnails for my comic to make sure I get the pacing right before I go ahead with writing the final dialogue, and aaaaaaaaa! I'm scared ;_; I don't even know why! I'm really excited for this project, and yet here I am ;_;

Mine's less scary and more a sense of obligation dread- "Oh god, here comes the shitton of work part :("

But the element of excitement is usually enough to shove me over that hump.

I enjoy all the parts of comicing but the fact that I've spent a good three months working on the script alone and not really thinking about anything else and now I have to move onto the thumbnailing is terrifying me. If that made sense.

I've just started the second to last chapter and it seems that I've turned what was originally just one page of the script and a bunch of teeny tiny thumbnails into three pages of panelling and dialogue.... This is turning into a huge monster.

I know that feeling. The excitement of actually taking my time to plan everything and anticipation of seeing the finished result is just outweighing the fact that everything is taking a long time to finish and there is a LOT to do before I even start drawing pages, let alone posting them.

I think excitement and fear tend to go hand in hand with things that we really care about, like going to uni, big dates and creative projects. I think that maybe the fear is part of the reason we keep doing what we do; to try and conquer it or just to enjoy the fluttery butterflies we get in our tummies (that may just be me...). Is it even fear or more anticipation/nerves?
