When I first began reading Homestuck, I skipped most of the Pesterlogs because they were very long and looked unimportant. But then I realized that they were actually real important somewhere between then and the Intermission. I don't want to go back and read it all again, but I know I probably missed some important info.
This is kind of killing me on the inside.

Dudeeeeee. GO back and do it, man. Those Pesterlogs can be pretty long, but they're also HILARIOUS most of the time. After first I too was like, "Can't I just skip these?" But as you've probably noticed, the dialogue can be pretty awesome. And important!

Yeah, but the intermission I kind of skimmed after a while. The most important thing is actually the last ten-ish pages, anyway!

The Wiki actually lists when people had Pesterlog chats, and by acts, too! Just click on a Character, and the column with all of their basic information with have a part marked Pesterlogs, with tabs for each act. It's a pretty sweet feature, I think.

Skipping the pesterlogs is essentially skipping the comic's story. It's the same as not reading the speech bubbles in a regular comic.

...So yeah, you should probably go back and read them.

OH! But every year or so Hussie puts a HUGE wall of text to recap the story. @_@ Unless you missed something, trust me when I say skip it.

And I'm still not sure whether Rose is evil or not; sure she went all Grimdark and stuff, but she seemed friendly enough towards John before... well... yeah :C
And I was not expecting that drastic turn of events regarding the Trolls. Poor Tavros... he was my second favorite Troll. D:

Also: I used to hate Vriska (mainly because of the way she treated Tavros) but now she's starting to grow on me. Very reluctantly.

Anyone else think Dave and Terezi make a great team? Almost every moment in their dialogue makes me crack up. (And all of the Buddy Cop fan art featuring them that has been popping up is HILARIOUS.) Although at first I was a bit confused as to when this took place on the timeline, but now I've figured it out: it's after Dave first flipped the coin, but before he visited his Quest Bed to find out the results/see the doomed timeline Dave. Also, I love how he's trying to keep up the cool kid facade through all of this. How sad. ;___;

And John will totally come back to life: we saw him with the lunchmuffs right before the Scratch, the first time Karkat talked to him. The question is, how? And will he be revived before Rose gets owned by Jack? (I don't think Rose has really gone "evil", nor do I think that the Horrorterrors are explicitly evil. I think they're just very concerned for their own wellbeing, and are quite willing to take control of a young girl's body in order to complete their agenda. Which is kind of evil, I guess.)

And where's Jade, anyway? XD

To tell you the truth, so did I. But mid-way through the part where you're the Trolls, it picked up for me, personally. (I think it's Act 5 Part 1-- but don't worry! It doesn't take as long as you think to catch up. It only took me 3-4 days!)

I won't, and i'm halfway on Act5 Part1, but really, the pesterchums get so annoying...I've been reading them since the first acts, and the troll ones get hard to read sometimes.

I don't think Act 5.2 has actually ended yet? I think we just got the End of Year 2 thing for commemoration's sake.
