Spoilered in case anyone actually wants to read the story.

Spoiler! :
It didn't finish. I was annoyed at first and even changed the Page10.html to page11. When that didn't work, the realization hit me.

I'm slow. I thought it was pretty good as far as creepypasta goes. Most of them appear to have been written by a five year old trying to scare their friends..

There's another version with an alternative end.
It's not exactly as good, but hey, it's readable!

Not quite creepypasta, but I think this has a similar appeal. And since we're already posting the really long ones, might as well post this one.

(I recommend reading through the related sites too, they can all be found by following links.)

Heres one of my favourites.

Spoiler! :
When I was a child I lived in a rented two-floor house. Both my parents worked so I was often alone when I came home from school.
One early evening when I came home the house was still dark.
I called out, “Mum?” and heard a voice say “Yeeeeees?” from upstairs.
I called my mum again, and again got the same “Yeeeeees?” reply.
I felt she was calling back at me and climbed up the stairs.
When I reached the first floor I called her once more and the voice “Yeeeeees?” came from the furthest room.
I felt both uneasy, but felt a strong urge to see my mother, and started to walk towards the room.
But just as I was about to open the door into the room I heard the front door downstairs open and my mother come in, carrying a lot of shopping bags.
“Sweetie, are you home?” my mother called in a cheery voice.
Hearing her voice made me feel instantly better and I turned back to go downstairs at once… but not before I had a quick glance towards the room.
While I watched from the top of the stairs, the door to the room slowly opened a crack.
For a brief moment, I saw something strange in there.
A pale face, staring at me...

Why isn't anyone checking my Creepypasta collection? Oh well.

But I grew up with scary stories. When I was like 6 or 7 I saw a ghost video on Youtube. Then, I bought a book called Encyclopedia Horrifica.

I couldn't sleep. But now it's just a tattered book that I have to staple and tape together so it won't fall apart.

Now I read creepypastas.

After you practically breath scary stories, trust me, it's like reading a Dr. Seuss book.

I think this one was already mentioned.
I don't know if it really qualifies as creepypasta, but it's certainly creepy and internet-born.

Oh, and I forgot. Pokemon Creepypasta. Nothing's actually scary. But imagine this.

Your a Zelda fan, strolling by the internet for Zelda stuff, you come across Ben Drowned. You read it. After you do, you think : "Oh God, I need to remove all traces of Majora's Mask."

When I first read it, I immediately deleted Majora's Mask on my emulator.

The SCP Foundation is incredibly fun to read through for some creepy stuff.

Pretty much all of them are either incredibly original in a sense, well written, or otherwise interesting takes on more well known concepts like the Skeleton Key or the Zombie virus.

I know a excellent source for Creepypasta.

It's the source of the Ben story, Pokemon Lost Silver, etc.

Does anyone remember an old TV show named Candle Cove?

I love creepypastas. I get a sick thrill out of terrifying myself into sleeping with the glow-clock on.

I think they're pretty hit and miss though, mostly misses for me. Some try way too hard to be creepy that it kinda pulls you out of the story. The pokemon creepypastas, especially, have some pretty bad misses, but their hits are brutal.

Like the Lavender Town conspiracy. fffff.

Is that story about ash being in coma and all of his adventures being fake a creepypasta? Because pokeslaughter is based on that and I didn't even know there was an entire genre of stories called creepypastas. what the hell is happening? IS MY ENTIRE EXISTANCE A CREEPYPASTA?
