German beer?
We have a lot cheaper beer brands here which are actually much better then the pricey ones.
But the best in my taste is the Wieninger Impulsator...

If you get one bottle of this you will be in heaven. But if you drink too much of that stuff your hangover will be deadly. hahaha
I know what I'm talking about.

ha, the last one I got trashed on was a sour brewed in gin barrels. Chicago has a ton of microbreweries so you can find some pretty crazy shit. And lots of Germans, so yes German beer as well! (Hooray Oktoberfest)

German beer is definitely the best. We don't get a ton of varieties over here, but a real solid staple for me is Paulaner when I can find it. It's the perfect mix of delicious, smooth and medium-bodied.

Then try to get a dark/brown Paulaner wheat beer. You will like it.
Oh man, I'm getting thirsty.

Finally I can write here ... hur hur hur ...I had some mediocre port wine. Not very tasty because it's one of the very cheap brands. But the effect is ok... no it's actually good.

I've been taking a break lately, but my god this year's Narwhal from Sierra Nevada was phenomenal. I also did a three year vertical of it with a buddy a couple months ago.

I don't remember how it went.

I've made it a mission, since the rule here is I'm only allowed to have three drinks within an 18 hour period, to figure out how to get as hammered as possible, for as long as possible, off of only three drinks. After some experimentation, a double of 12 year Glenfiddich scotch (each shot counts as a drink) followed by a German beer that I can never remember the name of (we just know it as Franks, just because it's part of the name) that comes in the largest bottle I've ever seen a beer served in, does the job nicely. Pound the scotch, then sip on the beer throughout the night to retain the buzz. Works out nicely.

Franzsikaner?

What about a 3 litre Badebier? Would this still count as one drink?

I had a small glass of whiskey last night, then fell asleep on the sofa for two hours.

I am SO rock and roll.

I think that might be it. And, if we carried them, yes, a Badebier would count as a single! lol

I will say, though, that when I land back in the States, the first thing I'm doing (after filing for some much-needed R&R) is going to the bar, ordering a glass of whiskey, and instructing the bartender to leave the bottle on the bar. By the time I'm done, the memory of this last month is going to be drowned in 100-proof!

Down to the last half glass of wine before Lent starts. I went out last week and got a bottle of wine and some wine coolers and figured it'd surely be enough to get me through Fat Tuesday. Then over the weekend I started getting worried that there was going to be too much, and wondering whether I should focus on finishing the bottle of wine since the wine coolers could just wait unrefrigerated if need be until after Easter. Now it's clear that it was, arguably, the perfect amount, as I'll finish this glass within the next 5 minutes and will pee everything away before I go to bed and can get a fresh start on Lent tomorrow.

Omg that means I'll be able to color my comic later without it being unneededly sloppy!!!
