Just got back from my 5 day Disney Cruise to le Bahamahs!

Spoiler! :
I'm burnt to bits, but It was worth it! Hanging with the 18-24 year olds really put a new spin on "cruise". For one, we stayed up until 4 am. EVERY NIGHT. We danced in the bar with all the drunk adults, hung out everywhere on the ship, and walked the top decks with the pitch black water surrounding us. And since half of us were over 21, I'd be lying if I said I didn't get to sample some alcohol. ;D (Don;t worry, I never drank enough to get drunk) There were some pretty tastey drinks, that I wouldn't mind ordering in full when I get to that age.

One of the guys in our group was Micah, an actor from Cali. You might know him as "Emmett" from Good Luck Charlie. X3 He was a rad dude, and knew how to party!

The 2 girls in my group were crazy different but both awesome, and it was fun hangin with them. The two other 18/19 guys were cool as well.

Best part was finding the older 2 guys, who really helped us take our cruise to the next level. I had alot in common with one (22 yrs old), so we got to be talk buddies, and one time makeout buddies. XD (glad my mom doesn't read these) He was the most epic to hang with in my opinion. He had great taste in music and liked theatre, and knew how to dance and have fun. We were at the dance bar every night XD

Tl;dr: I had an awesome time on my cruise, met a celebrity, met a guy ;D, and made plenty of new friends and new memories. ;)

tezzle wrote:Today I was randomly looking in my local used books/music/movies store and I found a HUGE leatherbound 1936 collection of EVERYTHING Shakespeare’s written. I’m not even that huge of a Shakespeare fan, but FUCK this is awesome. It also has illustrations! It was like $15! It’s HUGE! SCORE!

I’m a practical guy so I just feel like if I’m gonna get a book instead of reading it online it has to have some sentimental value to me, and I find it hard to care about the little paperback shits who are too small to set down on a table without constantly holding it open or holding it open with two hands, but too big to really comfortably hold with ONE hand, and the spines go all to hell after ONE reading, or those new big fancy leatherbound hardback classic books I’m seeing at Barnes & Noble that I just find too flashy.

THESE legit old-ass books are just BOOKS. There’s no cover art, there’s sometimes only anything written on the SPINE, not even the front JUST the spine, and it’s like “I don’t have to show off. You know I’m full of awesome shit.”

I just really like old books…

You remind me of me. I got a lot of old books and I'm always looking for more.

I just got asked if I would test for my dream job... sort of freaking out right now. If I pull this off, all my dreams come true; if I don't, I'll be okay but disappointed. Argh, I need to whip out something awesome!! stressing.. but totally excited :)

Going to go back to work soon. Hopefully. Got my doctor's note! I will finally no longer be absolutely broke and 3 feet in debt.
The good news has me drawing again, too. <3
My original manga is indefinitely on hiatus (sorry!).
It is going to be gutted and restarted because I started it prematurely.

You're back! I was considering starting an "absent posters" thread wondering how you were. (Also stripedwine, where she at?)
I know, I know, you were only gone a few weeks....

I was gone for a little over a month... I think I wanted to get away from drama and also felt bad for not updating my comic.

Yeah, I know she didn't care about anything, but I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a specific reason besides "eh." :P

Oh man, i'm finally Directing something. It'll be 2 minutes long, i guess, but it's something made with more people, for college.

I'm super excited and terrified. : P

I'm in New Orleans, and as soon as my friends finish taking forever to get ready, I am off to Jazz Fest. Today is going to be awesome.
