Okay, soooo...I have an interview on Monday for a part-time job. I've been three months without any sort of income.

Oh, please, oh, please, oh, please, oh, please, hire me. ; A ;

I'm going to count this as semi-optimistic.

Found out the verdict in my dad's court case last night. Out of the six charges he faced, three of them were dismissed, yet he was declared guilty on the other three, due to one of the DA's experts changing his testimony last minute before he went up into the witnesses' chair (a big no-no, if you fail to declare "new facts and/or evidence" to the judge and the other party first.) The judge, who, according to my stepmom, is really unhappy with this district attorney, didn't realize he did it until after the jury was coming out of the deliberation room. The good news is, they judge is now conducting an investigation on this DA and this guy on their handling of this case and, to see if their shenanigans influenced the jury's decision and caused a mistrial. If so, my dad will get a shot at either a retrial or, at best, have the charges against him dropped.

So, at least until October, my dad is still a free man. It still sucks that this thing is going on, but in the meantime, I'm glad my dad's okay. A perfect man, my dad is not, but neither is he a criminal.

My new computer had a serious problem, four months after I got it. It took six whole hours but I fixed it. I'm giddy with giddiness.

Eishiya, you are an amazing person, because if I saw that spider, I would have run away screaming in full "scissors kick" mode with my arms flailing above my head. I found a wolf spider in my bathroom and nearly had a heart attack.

I got one of the staff pick's from the Manga Magazine Olympics Illustration Competition! Awesome.I've only placed in one other art competition before. It feels kind of nice!

Congrats! I haven't checked out that competition, but MM has quite a few good artists, so you surely had some tough competition.

Wolf spiders bite and they're not cute. Jumping spiders don't bite unless you start to crush them and they're adorabus.
