For those that are asking and seem a little disoriented, here's a rehash: dA is an art community on the internet. In addition to offering free accounts for its members, it also holds the capacity for the formation of groups, which members may join. The Smackjeeves group is in no way officially affiliated with the site. It's just bunch of SJ users congregating on dA.

Magekotarou created a Smackjeeves group for dA users to find and connect with other Smackjeeves-dA users. Somewhere along the way, she made the decision that she would be leaving dA and so noted asking me (and a few other people I'm assuming) to help work the group. So don't worry; it's not dead. We updated our Submissions a while ago, so now members can showcase more art. I know for a fact 3eoclock, terminalmontage, xxanemia, zobe, denji-chan, trueanime, & asjjohnson are around from time to time.

We haven't done anything cool in a while, though. We'll think of more SJ on dA community-driven activities soon. :>

Mosama suggested we try and do more community activities on the Smackjeeves dA group, so I finally got my butt in gear and did up the demo monthly artist feature to see if it is well received.

The first monthly feature is StellaCadente of Beyond Temptation!

There is an interview with her as well as a display of her works in the featured folder on the main page of the dA group. Go and see! <3

I'll probably join later. I'm still relatively new to SJ, though I was on a DrunkDuck group for awhile. There isn't an official one for that other than kinda a small beans sorta one run by one dude, which he runs solely for his own comic. *shrug*
