I would like to apply on mangamagazine.net but...

A place for folks to discuss the professional side of comics and webcomics.

I would like to apply on mangamagazine.net but...

Drawing for me is a very hard task...I don't know if i could get a decent chapter ready on time every month...
Are there any other similar websites with less restrictive schedules ? :)

Uhhhh............. (Where is your art?)

As an aside I don't think you can earn money simply by working for an online magazine and "meeting their deadlines".

Manga Magazine does pay their authors like 100-150 per chapter apparently. While not enough to survive off of, it's quite unusual to see payment of any kind for these types of things.

True at this is, I was hinting more at how IcantDraw has no art to refer to (no art listed in their profile) etc.

It also hinges on them being hired, which I imagine since they actually pay their authors allows them to be picky.

Some of the comics on that website are pretty sketchy, I assume the authors are trying to make it fast so the payment worths.
Nothing like spending some hours a month doing sketchy art and getting paid lol :p
Since they accept such lame art I thought I would have a chance, but I guess they probably give preference to more refined art as their database grows :p

lol. You're missing the fact that their art is fundamentally solid and while artists such as Cassandra Jean of Black Eyed Susan and Land of the Lions may have a more loose or sketchy way of approaching comics, she also has excellent timing and writing skills. It's about quality of story over on mangamagazine. Polish comes last.
