I have seen this film, I think it's okay, but I wasn't impressed with the portrayal of the Lizard. He didn't seem to serve much of a purpose to me, unlike the other Raimi villians.

Also, where is Jonah Jameson?

But either way, I'm hoping the sequel will be much better. I hope it will feature Silvermane or Kingpin.

I love Jameson, but they didn't cover the newspaper storyline in this film, which I think was acceptable seeing as that would have made the movie way, way longer (and it was already pretty long, I thought).

I'm really hoping they can somehow get J.K. Simmons to play him again. I know, I know. I just wish.

Spot can teleport.

I'm guessing it's Silvermane.

Though it's difficult to tell from this image age or extent of teleportation abilities... I'm also not certain about their involvement in the maggia.

I think Connors was an excellent portrayal in this movie. He fit in almost seemlessly as a professor for Ozcorp who was sympathetic and also driven to achieve his goal. I mean its a little weird Gwen was already a high up Intern in the company but then again, least she proved useful.

Jonah Jameson wouldnt come out during Parker's Highschool years xD. Butcollege years hopefully!

Is it weird that I liked Connors the whole way through? Probably. Anyway I massively enjoyed the film, I thought Peters awkwardness made me believe that he was an average high school kid. Bless him I could feel his pain. And his sassiness when he was doing the Spiderman gig was a winner for me. I don't know why but for me the most emotional moment was when he was trying to save that kid from the car dangling off the bridge, I just thought "theres no way they'd kill off a child that'd be cruel" but even so I was so tense.

Also, is that deliberate ass-contouring the costume guys did on the suit?

I liked Connors too, but I wasn't sure if I was just biased because he reminded me strangely of one of my favorite professors.

I'm just hoping for a better Venom.

Topher Grace is cool and all, but a skinny little neighbor boy just isn't fit for an incredibly manly Venom.

Eh, I don't think the size was the problem. Because after all, Venom is supposed to be a darker version of Spiderman, why not make them equal size? I think it was because they did not make him speak enough as Venom and kept making him peel his face back.

I just came back from watching the movie (I'm so late, I know) and I have a theory that everyone else has probably already thought of: all those cranes he swings on in the end? They're there because Manhattan is being rebuilt from the damage at the end of the Avengers film. They're almost finished with the reconstruction effort, so The Amazing Spider-Man probably takes place three of four years after the Avengers film. Which makes sense, since they seem to have the same type of hard-light holographic that was used in Iron Man 2. And it would definitely explain why Spidey wasn't present during the Chitauri invasion: he wasn't Spidey yet.

Spoiler! :
I know they exist in different universes due to licensing kerfuffles. A girl can dream, though, right?! ;____;

Watched it, but it was broke the fourth wall too much, and it was stereotypical. Plus, the main characters were pasty white.

You don't say that about my Emma Stone.
