pearl was pretty strong for this episode and actually had emotions which is a pretty big rarity considering the majority of her moments are her being an uptight cunt.

i appreciate when pearl is good in episodes, though. pearl is great

I think that generally depends on who's story boarding and all that.

I love this show! I love all of the characters and I love the art of Rebecca Sugar and her brother, Steven Sugar (he works on the backgrounds). I don't even have a main favorite character because it's just so hard to choose.

Saaaame! It's hard to pick ONE favourite character, I love them all. (Except maybe Onion but he's supposed to be annoying so that's okay.)

I've been chronically disappointed with mainstream animation for YEARS but this show is amazing.

my favorite character is amethyst by a long shot, considering i relate to her a lot, and she has lots of development early on which hooked me in

I really love to go back to the beginning of the series and think back on how much these characters grew, like Peridot for example. She started out as one of the antagonists but then she's now one of my favorite characters.

One of my friends told me I should check this show out, since I'm a big fan of magical girl anime. I'm going to give it a whirl and see how I like it

It's a really fun show. Season 1 started off kind of rough but they eventually found their groove

I still need to catch up on the last few episodes but yeah, gosh, I love this show. I've been really bummed out about how animation stopped affecting me as much as live action when it comes to storytelling and SU changed that and gave me the... uh, it sounds corny but enough hope to try more animated shows.

Saaaame, I love Peridot! :geek:

While i think the show's pacing and art was much better in season one, I still love watching the characters. Say what you will about the plot, but this show has great dialogue.
