Steven Universe is probably one of the best western cartoons I have ever watched along with the Avatar series, Adventure Time and Gravity Falls.

The one thing I really dislike about this show is that it sets up to be all like... light-hearted and fun and "hey it's cool, it's just this cute, silly little episode!" and then

BAM

it gets hella real and I'm getting super emotional and realize I have no idea what I'm doing with my life.

Okay, okay, I actually love that part about the show the most...

I'm a big fan of the new opening, everyone's more of a big happy family now. Also the cute as heck Jam song (and then the punch in the feels do it for him/her song) were really cool.
Steven universe is one of the few shows were I just love all of the characters because there all so well written, (Kinda like Avatar and Korra). Connie's definitely becoming a favourite (along with Garnet and Greg) and I can't wait till she gets Rose's sword and see how that'll all go down.

My friends were talking about this show the other day. I decided to see what it was all about, so I watched the first episode... then I bought every single episode on Amazon Video...

So... yeah... I kind of like it now.

At first I thought it was just gonna be a fun show but it has gotten a very deep storyline.
