Guys, forgive me for looking up a few things on the wiki, but...
Spoiler! :
WEREWOLVES ARE BACK!
That's it, no more "If I start a second character," I am totally making a Werewolf Dunmer one of these days.

Anybody know a good gameplay video of it? I seriously have no great deal of an idea how any of these games are, other then the world is open, and you run, and do shit, and ect.

The problem is a gameplay video won't show you enough of this game, really. I still say your best bet is trying out Morrowind or Oblivion, but... Hmm... I can try finding some gameplay, but I just don't know if a video can really do it justice. Part of the appeal is the atmosphere, freedom and roleplaying aspects, and those are things you just can't feel in a video.

*EDIT*
This vid covers a little over 20 minutes of gameplay from the start of the game. If you want you can skip forward every now and then to avoid spoiling too much of the intro.

*EDITEDIT*
Haha, I've been so hooked that I forgot to add this to my Backloggery until now. Sorry, epic gun quote, your time was short but DOA as soon as I remembered I have yet another way to show that I'm playing Skyrim instead of doing productive things.

GODDAMN I-

I have three questions though, can the camera stay over the shoulder (not centre of screen third-person, I mean character on left of screen over the shoulder third-person) throughout the entire game? Is first person even available in combat? (can't tell in the video, they used third person in all the fights)

DOES STAMINA FORCE YOUR CHARACTER TO GO ANNOYINGLY SLOW LIKE IT WAS IN MORROWIND? (even though the normal speed in Skyrim seems pretty damn fine to me, actually.)

1: Nope, when you draw your weapons it automatically centers, but you can zoom the camera in/out in third person if that helps. Hell, you could zoom it out so much that it looks like an oldschool Neverwinter-esque WRPG or something, haha. (Though that wouldn't work terribly well with the targeting ridicule and all, but you get the idea.)
2: Yes, you can do anything in either first or third person. You can play the entire game using only one of the two if you'd like. I actually switch it up myself. Running around, exploring, talking to people, and most fights I like third person, and when I need to be more precise with what I'm doing or need a better view without my character in the way, I shift to first person. You can switch it with a click of the right analog stick, so it's pretty convenient.
3: The Stamina bar's only real purposes are for Sprinting and Heavy attacks, (and maybe blocking, I'm not sure since I've yet to use a shield,) jumping, regular movement, regular attacking and stuff like that have no affect on your stamina.

Honestly I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's the most accessible and amazing TES yet. They've ditched obnoxious things like equipment durability and enemy scaling and simplified speechcraft/shopping and character creation and such but without dumbing things down enough to complain about. Bethesda outdid themselves with this game.

Gah, so many edits. I'm terrible at explaining things.

I'm being too nice to people. But I love how I can strip people after I kill them.

Also I killed that old bitch in the orphanage in Riften.

Then I killed the helper chick and got a letter with a hand print on it after I sprung my ass from jail.

So I used that Dragon Shout stuff in the middle of town, The one that makes you move fast, and they give me a letter to increase my powers.....I also got 6 people to say, "HOLY SHIT" I may just roar at people for a while.

I also am part of the thief guild. The duds make me look like a poor man's Etzio from Assassin's creed.

SJ TES FANBASE, I NEED YOUR HELP.

SHOULD I BUY A GUITAR OR SKYRIM?

First option with 5 votes wins!

SO VOTE THE FUCK OUT OF MY POST!

In my opinions :

Guitar :

Pros :

I can shred the fuck out of Elder Scrolls Music
I can go all metal head
I can use it like a stress ball : play the fuck out of it

cons :

One string breaks, I'm fucked
one I'm buying is going to break balls for birthday gifts

Skyrim :

Pros

Fucking epic
On PC, AND 360
If I buy guitar my parents'll buy me a 360 and maybe skyrim anyway

Cons

Current texture issues
I'll probably lose it unless I buy it on steam
expensive as hell
Image

I have a Shotgun, your argument is invalid.

HAHAHA
Like hell I'm clicking on that.
Porn viruses ahoy!

...Do you already play music or?
Is a video game really more important?

Question kind of sounds silly to be honest.
