Hopefully I'll actually beat it this time! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

...but seriously hopefully I actually beat it this time. I think I might do mostly multiplayer this time around. I did so much better with other people. I also felt more encouraged when playing, even when we failed. I guess misery loves company! :D

I'm also hoping for some ability to use mics. Even if it's just the ability to plug in a USB mic, voice chat would make online multiplayer instantly more awesome.

Doesn't the GamePad have a built-in video chat? If so I would assume it also has a mic that can be used even when the screen is being used up.
My house is so busy I'd rarely use it, though. There'd be too much background noise and I'd probably be hanging out with buddies most of the time, haha.

Holy crap yeah I forgot about that! So I guess I just want to hear that it's supported in game now. I'd love to be able to play with the mic on the game pad, just so long as it doesn't echo with the sound from the game haha.

-Headdesk x3- God..... The video comments..... I think I lost some brain cells.

Anyway, I heard the news, not bad I say. And at a decent price.

Seriously, it's a good price. Did we all forget what could have been?

Spoiler! :
599 USD 599 USD 599 USD giant enemy carbs

Monster Hunter using a decent online structure would be great.

I loved Loc Lac, though. :O
Or are you referring to lag? Which still wasn't as bad as a lot of games I've played.

Either way I hope they kept Loc Lac.

Also new game in development by the Xenoblade devs.
And looking at Xenoblade's US sales I think it's safe to say we won't have to worry about localization this time around~

I donno what I mean. I gues the online on the Wii was a bit simplistic to me(which makes sense, 'cause the online the Wii had).

I guess a little something I can think of is... Like... Announcements for when those special quest to get those special materials for weapons.

Something like that, I can't think of anything good.

I wonder what they'll do/add next and how they'll use the Wii U features (assuming they do).

My Gamestop just said they're taking reservations so if you're getting it on Day 1 I highly recommend reserving it soon! I know I'm going to reserve it when I pick up Borderlands 2 on Monday (midnight release, yea-yuh~). Hopefully no one knows about them enough around her so I can get mine in soon :)

Ugh I have to save for a move around the same time I'd be saving for this thing. :x It's already starting to look like launch day for this thing is going to be similar to the Wii's, with the whole if you didn't reserve it whoopsie you're gonna have to wait thing. Got a couple of friends who work at GS and the day the release date dropped, their stores filled all their reserve spots. Darn and blast!

*SIGH* Ah well. Someone's gotta still be playing Monster Hunter by the time I get it, right?

I'm sluggish with MH. I can never commit to a game indefinitely so I'm always switching from game to game, but I can promise you I'll play it off and on regularly until a new console MH is released, and that my fickleness will keep me from flying past you like some others might. Although I'm sure I'll progress at a steadier pace than I did in Tri.
Spoiler! :
And it's not a launch title, it's coming out in March, so I wouldn't worry too much.

*EDIT*
Joystiq made a nice little roundup of Wii U news.
Anyone not caught up on all the crazy reveals that went on the other day should check it out.

ATTN DELUXE WII U BUYERS! CHECK YOUR LOCAL GAMESTOP TO SEE IF THEY'RE ACCEPTING DELUXE PRE-ORDERS! The GameStop I just went to literally told me that the Deluxe reservations started yesterday and ends after today! I'm not sure if this is every GameStop but you should check just in case!

That is all.
