Well, it did worked with me. You are just looking at the wrong place. Maybe it's in your Documents folder?

In other news: a Destructoid interview hints at cross-platform gameplay for Borderlands 2.

Wait, Print Screen actually took screenshots for you?

It's usual function is capping whatever is currently on your screen which you can then paste in paint but it wasn't working for me earlier so I thought something was wrong with my keyboard...
Oh well I'll figure it out later. Right now I HAVE XENOBLADE TO PLAAAAAY~

Yeah. I'll send you some screens of my creation as proof.

Alright, I took some screens.
Here's my silly attempt at Ixis;
Spoiler! :
Image
Actually turned out better than he has in a lot of games... Especially my SCIV and V attempts.

I only have two others to post, one of which my friend did. If his computer can handle the game itself this is the character he'll likely be using, hahaha;
Spoiler! :
Although he said he wanted to add sunglasses to him, which we forgot to do.
Image

Lastly a random RaCast I made. Still undecided on whether I'd rather use this or one of the robot heads;
Spoiler! :

Oh, and to reiterate from the Vent Thread:

:D

Spoiler! :
FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING FUCK EVERYTHING.

Words can't describe how bad I'm raging over this... Especially since I've head that the only reason the western version is Dual-Layer is because of the English voice tracks THAT I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO USE.

I can't believe this, I... I don't know what to do. All of my options fucking suck.
  • Every time I want to play I can sit and take the disc in and out for an hour until it finally decides to work.
  • Send my Wii to Nintendo to get it fixed and run the risk of losing all of my non-copyable data like SSBB and Monster Hunter Tri, (a risk that others have stated can very easily happen, not just a once-in-a-blue-moon sort of thing.)
  • Wait for the Wii-U to come out near the end of the year.
It wasn't as bad with SSBB because I was able to play it a ton before it started to give my Wii problems, so I was willing to wait it out, but this is bullshit.

So, here's my creations:

My first one (and the one I'm most likely to use), Cross-7.

Spoiler! :

And it's ''little sister'' model, Kira-6.

Spoiler! :

Before anyone asks, they're rangers. Since the rangers in PS Zero have access to all gunblades, I would rather not take chances for the gunslashes.

Well, you may risk a copyright violation if you don't.

That is, according to this blog post, anyway.

Dunno if it really matters but I'll do it anyways.

*Sigh*
Then it's back to Metroid Fusion.

First of all I'd like to say everybody's lookin' pretty fine in their space tights today. Secondly, I tried asking Google but I couldn't wade through the thousands of DVD player questions. What exactly does Xenoblade being a dual-layer disc imply? D:

That my shitty old Wii lens won't read it 999 times out of 1000. I have the same problem with SSBB to the point where I just went out and bought Melee again to fuel my SSB fix because I was so sick of never getting Brawl to work.
I've had Xenoblade in my possession for almost 3 hours now and have yet to see so much as the title screen.

I've inventoried my data and moved everything possible to an SD memory card at this point. I'm so sick of the problem that if I still have my warranty active I might just risk having my data lost and send it to Nintendo... Well, I do have one more trick I'm gonna try that I found on YT for cleaning the lens. If that doesn't work and I can't get Nintendo to fix my console for free then I'm just gonna wait for the Wii-U.
Spoiler! :
In the shitty scenario that I lose my data in the process the only saves of value I'll really lose are MHTri, Animal Crossing and SSBB. I don't care about MK Wii anymore after realizing that online is full of hackers and I don't mind starting over in NiGHTS. The aforementioned three would suck the most simply because of how much time and energy I've sunk into them. Just thinking about it is already making me start to question my resolve and willingness to trust Nintendo with it. :C
I don't care if Monster Hunter 4 is confirmed, losing literally hundreds of hours of Tri hunting would suuuuuck.

*EDIT*
Apparently Nintendo has an official Lens Cleaning Kit for the Wii now. I'm gonna try that instead of sending it in to Nintendo.
If I can't fix the lens I might as well just deal with waiting for the Wii-U, because I start work in a month, and once that happens I'll hardly have any time to play games like Xenoblade anyway.

Whatever the case, this sucks. I wish I at least knew ahead of time that it was Dual-Layer. :/

The closest thing to this I had to deal with is my Gran Turismo 2 data being corrupted. I loved that Mustang SVT Cobra. :(

That and the fact there's one disk for Arcade mode and another one for Simulation mode.

Talk about having your anus metaphorically titillated by a rose bush, jegus. I don't really play Monster Hunter, but Animal Crossing practically requires a Blood Toll and an eternal promise of half your mortal soul. Losing that scrapes the bottom of the barrel... e A e
But... does that mean the problem is specific to your Wii? Not the console in general? Because I'm suddenly scared to buy the game

Some Wiis have the problem, some don't. Older ones tend to be more at risk but it also seems to happen over time because back when I first got Brawl it worked fine.
Basically, if you can play SSBB, Other M and Metroid Prime Trilogy without disc read errors, you should be able to play Xenoblade just fine.

Spoiler! :
Oh, and to give you an idea of how much of a pain it would be to lose MH data... When I say I've spend hundreds of hours on it that is not an exaggeration. I have 200-300+ hours on my file and there is still shit I haven't done yet. Needless to say if I lost that data I would never play Tri again, though it doesn't really matter because I've decided I'd rather wait some months for the Wii-U than risk it.

Apparently, according to someone on the Sega forums, there's no longer any racial traits (CASTs can no longer regenerate health, Newmans can no longer regenerate PP...).

That sucks. I'm a freaking glass cannon, now.
