So Notch actually went through with his bet.

There was a Humble Bundle where a MLP group was donating a large sum, and he said that if they topped the donations list then he would watch the first episode of Friendship is Magic. As expected, they did, and Notch seems to have watched more than the first episode.

Yeah, you do, and so does Paradox.

In that case, Paradox, what time are you usually online?

Give me a time and I'll pop on for you, I'm too busy lately to play myself.

Spanning about two and a half thousand blocks, at about 12 metres above bedrock, the Warden Tunnel has finished its first stage: the carving out. There is still the decoration and the track itself to be implemented, but that should take nowhere near as long to be placed.

Feel free to travel along it if you wish, but in keeping with the general implied rules of the server, please be sensible inside the tunnel and its destination. Lord Enigma has a little bit of an exception, but it's only a one-time thing, and we both know the reason why.

EDIT: I thought I might throw this link in as well: http://kotaku.com/5835003/heres-a-real- ... ou-to-mine

Grr... another double post from me on this topic.

Today, Neon, Enigma, and I went on a search for a stronghold, travelling over harsh terrain in a matter of two dangerous nights to reach the first of three strongholds in the world. It took about ten minutes of searching this stronghold, in which time we were ambushed by mobs and silverfish alike, until we discovered the portal that leads to The End. As kind and gentle players we are, we decided to leave it until a good majority of the players get on the server, where we shall form a "Pumpkin Head Brigade" to kill the Enderdragon and claim the desolate home of Endermen for ourselves.

In the meantime I have gone ahead and made a branch off my track into town, which leads directly next to the End portal. I have also tidied up the passageway between said tunnel and portal, as well as clearing the loose stone brick from around the portal to redecorate the room. It's the first step into rejuvenating the stronghold, and the first step into creating a second destination for the server's railway I'm constructing.

So with the updates put aside, I would like to know from other players of the server what time we should fight the Enderdragon as the "Pumpkin Head Brigade". This way we can get the most players online to kill it, as well as to share the spoils of the Dragon Egg between the victors using the Creative skills of Paradox, ZOMGbie, or Oaede.

What else do we use to keep the Endermen from attacking us? You know as much as me how much of a pain one is to fight in SMP, let alone a whole floating island.

I got some good news and bad news. The bad. I lost an full inventory of stuff. I won't go into the details of the items but losing them was such a pain. It was odd. The mobs were frozen. I could push them around. Then they suddenly started dashing all over the place. I was taking damage like crazy. I get to my house and see chunk error going through it. I disconnect from the server and return only to die. All my not being where I died.

The good. The tower I've been building is coming along quite nicely. I'll admit the outside is kinda plain. I find the inside to be quite nice. Even if it's only for the center pillar. It is pretty far out. Being x-1750 z191. Though the nether does make getting much easier. I still need to make a better path connecting the portals though. It's still pretty easy to find it though.

First of all, the latest snapshot. We can make edited books, with text! It seems like it allows for about 13 pages, and can be edited until they're titled, which would be a great help with adventure maps (especially those based off of The Elder Scrolls).

Also, coloured wood also turns into their appropriately coloured half-slabs (which now act like wood in that they can be destroyed by axe and are flammable), and the Silk Touch enchantment now allows ice and glass panes to be collected again. Not exactly the best snapshot, but definitely one of the better ones.

* * *

Second, Season 5 of the Mindcrack Ultra Hardcore has started, with new competitors Justdefy, Pakratt, Zisteau, and cheaty Nebris. This season is a lot like season 3, in that it's like Highlander, but with a bit more lag this time.

I'd suggest keeping an eye on either Kurt, Docm, Etho, or Guude. They seem to be quite close to each other this time, with two near-encounters in this first episode alone. However, for those that have more time on their hands, feel free to watch them all.

* * *

Finally, The End on Server Paradox. We (Enigma, Neon, and I) really want to fight the Enderdragon, but we also want to do it with quite a few people, and we're starting to get a bit impatient. It would be nice to have a definite date and time for this, which is why I'm putting the message up here again.

I'd be looking more towards either tomorrow, Saturday or Sunday at about 8pm-midnight, considering that most people on the server seem to be in the US, but I'd like the input of others as well. People can come late if need be as well, especially considering that The End will always be there, and until it's dead so will the dragon.

I'm free any time to kill a dragon, so just name the time and I'll show up.

I feel so guilty leaving my city unfinished, but aahhh other hobbies stealing my attention away.
