The whole part leading up to the Qualag Queen was Hell also. My goodness. The fat guys that throw rocks, smash you with them, then roll you up katamari style and bring you all sorts of pains.

I seriously laughed my ass off the first time I saw one of them start rolling the rock at me.

Also, did you know that if you are human in that area, you can get invaded by an AI black demon with a meat cleaver.

Whoa, I'll have to try that. So far Souls have been harder to come by than they were in DmS. Any little bit can be incredibly helpful.

Also, did you know that if you are human in that area, you can get invaded by an AI black demon with a meat cleaver. She's pretty easy, just block and attack. You get the meat cleaver and a lot of souls. Also, if you get to Quelagg's chamber as a human, there is a soul sign that you can use to summon that AI as a helper for the fight. I don't know if I could have beat Quelagg without her help.

Oh yeah, that phantom invaded my world, and killed my partner who was going to help me kill Quelagg. I'm getting to pretty high levels now, I'm past 40, but I'm putting all my souls into that one stat that lets me hold more spells, so I'm not really as strong as my level suggests. So it's going to suck when people around my level invade me.

And! I invaded someone's world, and some other mage dude helped me. He has that spell that slows you down and prevents you from rolling, and so I was able to spam Chaos Fireball all day, took him out so easy. I've won about 4 out of 8 invades, without backstabbing to win.

What in the... I have a million souls, ready to upgrade my pyromancy flame, and now my pyro is gone. I'm a walking gold mine, and my bon fire is dead.

edit: Oh my goodness. I have to go to the Quelagg's Nest, and talk to the Chaos person. I need to go down there, with my souls.

So I killed that Hydra earlier. He was all hype. Once you get close enough for it to start attacking you instead of shooting you he's not too bad.
It is annoying how the heads attack pre-determined directions, though... One of the heads always swung in a direction that was too far out in the lake for me to hit, so I had to shoot the last head with magic arrow. Got a Dragon Scale though, that was cool.

Also, Sen's Fortress, my god... Those Snake guys aren't too bad, but all the booby traps... Grrr...

Sen's Fortress is awesome, I walked into an elevator that threw me up into a ceiling full of spikes, barely survived, took me to the basement, I crawled off, saw a treasure chest, decided to open it, then it ate me.



I love this game.

Yeah, that Spike Ceiling is what got me... My flask was empty so my health was low.
I really should've seen it coming from the blood on the platform... I had a sneaking suspicion that something bad would happen but took my chances. :C

Also I love that boulder system. I smiled at how much it reminded me of a giant pinball machine.

Hah yeah, I need to go back and beat that place. I completed my pilgrimage to the Demon Ruins with, about 60k souls. I did have 80, but I bought a bunch of arrows and 2 of those rings that prevent me from losing souls. Unfortunately, you cannot hold more than one of the same ring. And I was already holding 1, so instead of having 3, I still had one, and my souls were wasted. But I did get my Pyromancy hand to +13, it has 230 power now, and 50something fire. And.. I saw Laurentus! He was in the swampy waters attacking me! I didn't kill him, yet, I hear he only drops 1000 souls, and no items. As you, may already know Seven lol


BUT ANYWAY. CEASELESS DISCHARGE. How the HECK do I beat him? The first time I fought him I got him halfway down no problem, and he got a lucky shot with that one move that never misses and shoots fire everywhere, now when I fight him he does that, almost, nonstop.

Capras wasn't too bad, I got the sword from him too. One of the dogs derped out somewhere in the arena.

Got OHKO'd by Graping Dragon though.... his tiny head is kind of adorable 83

lol, I went to Sen's Fortress, then back to Demon Ruins, I go back and forth depending on my mood. And now that I can teleport between (Certain) bonfires, IT'S SO CONVENIENT. I've come to an impasse in Demon Ruins, I beat the Centipede Demon, and there was no door to go in, so, it's just a dead end? I got a ring from beating him, it didn't trigger anything, and this is beyond that "brilliant light" that blocked it. I thought something important would be in there, not some side quest boss. Albeit he was pretty awesome looking.

I've been taking a break tonight but the last thing I did was dick around in the forest a bit. I came across the Butterfly and made Butterflysandwiches out of it and then proceeded to get beat up by a couple of human NPCs behind that weird door that I had to pay 20K souls just to get in, haha.

Oh, and has anyone been using the Wiki? I rarely get on because I love fending for myself so early on, but it's shaping up pretty nicely. They've been updating it as the days go by and I really like it a lot more than the Wikidot for both games. The site seems so much cleaner than Wikidot.

Also, beyond that door is where you can do a glitch to get about 6-7k every 2-3 minutes. http://youtu.be/cjHG-cuBakg I see lots of phantoms doing it lol, if you join the Hunter Covenant though, those NPCs stop attacking you, and they help you when you invade peoples worlds. After the god summons you and you are successful in your hunt 4 times she gives you the invisibility ring. I dunno if she gives any other goodies after that, cause an NPC aggro'd me (I probably hit him by accident), so I killed them all, now I'm outta the covenant forever, I've been black listed by the hunters, so now I'm always a target.

I've done it a few times. Farming lesser Capra demons in Demon Ruins is a good way to get souls too, no glitch involved, and it's really just nice for me cause I use Great Chaos Flame to one shot them all, it's about 5000 souls a minute (like, I just farmed 400k souls while listening to an audio book for homework )

And I see on the wiki there is a trading page, how will you trade with someone though? You cannot choose who you play with. And according to one of those people, you get a sword from the Hunter Covenant, so don't ruin it like I did if you join.

And, AWWWW MAN. If I gave 30 humanity to the chaos covenant lady, I would've gotten the CHAOS FIRESTORM spell, I guess I'll do it in NG+...

Iunno about any Skeleton, but you can find the Butterfly in this square tower in the forest. Just take a right when you see the big door that leads to those Phantoms.
The statues before the boss are annoying. They cast that spell that makes you slow and unable to roll.
