But... it practically is one. :?

Also I heard they making a Farmville movie and I still cannot wrap my head around it.

Wasn't there some announcement of an Asteroids movie a long time ago?

This. I'm willing to bet that if there's a movie adaptation of these games, it would be a deconstruction of the typical gangster movie, yet who got it's own story. Just like the planned Deadpool movie.

Most movies based on games suck. The only good ones I have seen are animated. Prof. Layton, Halo, Sonic, and the Japenese animated Mario Movie. If you are going to base a movie on a game, make it the same style as the game itself. Live action sucks!

Anyway, I would like to see a Team Fortress 2 movie. It can be like the Meet The Team Series. The animation is smooth, and they are fucking hilarious. I also think Portal and Half-Life would be pretty good.

And Mega Man. Seriously, we need a good Mega Man cartoon. I want one that has the same style of animation as Mega Man 8. And GOOD FREAKIN VOICE ACTORS.

Is no one going to mention the Metal Gear series? That series is practically a movie already.

Honestly there are a lot of good series's out there but are too long to fit into a movie. A lot of them I could think of being good television series's just because of the nature of the characters or the adventure they're on.

Take Team Fortress 2 for example. I can't possibly think of a plot for a movie, but there's potential for tons of episodes of it just because of how well the characters are foils of each other. Or Zelda for another example. Frankly I feel like the movie wouldn't really touch on everything it could because it'd need to pretty much speedrun through dungeons, would have no side quests most likely, and it probably wouldn't explain everything it needed to. Now if it were a cartoon, even if they didn't give Link a voice I think it'd still be pretty interesting. Each dungeon could be given plenty of time from one episode to many, side quests could show up if they're deemed interesting enough, and everything could be explained. Probably.

If its already a movie why would we need to make it into one?

There was a sonic movie? Post a link or something.

And a live action mega would be kinda cool IMO.

Wait, why don't we all just make a movie ourselves? We could be the voice actors, and use G mod and sprites.
