That one MLP Collab I mentioned (no more ponies, guests OK)

Now, if only they'd let a 5-year-old write an episode and have it be a crossover between all of the shows on that channel. Imagine the possibilities! Imagine what a little kid could come up with! (I'm hoping for aFleetwood Mac-style Pinkie Pie/Optimus Prime/Strawberry Shortcake/Cobra Commander love square, and in the end, they'd manage to keep the band together and play their gig at the Littlest Pet shop)

So I'm officially opening this up for discussion. Anyone interested can post here and we'll try and kick this off sometime soon.

Okay, if it pleases the masses we could do a collaborative comic where we each take turns drawing a page, that way nobody will feel left out from drawing their favorites.

This would be the format, unless someone has a better suggestion.

I like this format, but I can see this getting really messed up and all over the place unless we have some sort of storyline planned out, unless this is intended to be a bunch of crack.

Agreed. We should probably figure out the story before we get started. If anyone is opposed to Optimus Prime due to his being super hard to draw/being waaay bigger than everyone else, I'm okay with thinking of a replacement.

I've never really drawn any mecha before, but I would actually enjoy the challange. I know that this definitely is not the same for a lot of people, but I personally wouldn't mind.

But if we were to replace Optimus Prime, may I suggest Batman? Or any other badass superhero would be fine.

I think it's be in all of our best interests to make this comic as chibi as possible, to fit with the Strawberry Shortcake/My Little Pony theme.

Seeing as MLP was like, a forum fad for a while, I'm fine with anyone who wants to be in on this being in on this. It's really up to you guys how organized this is going to be. I just threw out a general plot, we don't really need to stick to it, nor do we need to have anything BUT My Little Pony.

If we want to make a MLP Fan Comic and give it to Lauren Faust herself as a "We the Community here at the Smack Jeeves Webcomic Hosting Forums think you're awesome, and we all chipped in to make you a gift" I'd be proud to attempt it.

I'm totally in! I'm pretty good at drawing mechs, though I do agree that Optimus is too big. What about G1 Wheelie? He's about the right size. Being a kid he could be kind of fun to write in.
