Last night i had a dream.. in that dream I painted two posters
I remembered all of the first one. this was it.


the second one I could only remember the foreground so didnt sketch it yet.. i wonder what was in the background? D:

That's one of the things i'm practicing at the moment so glad I managed
gotta kick the habit of using lines as a crutch because of not knowing how to define forms without them.. using lighting and value instead!

Well feb is over.. but I'm not gonna stop sketching, haha though I'm mainly focusing on retouching early comic pages for print


this one was cause I had a conversation with someone who said my art lacked feeling and lacked any personal touch. I answered that I feel kinda aimless in my work at the moment. I want it to look good but that stops me from having fun with it most of the time. He said "project the aimlessness onto the canvas"
so i did. Surreal. think it was about 35-40min


i love draiwng dragons and feel like they're one of the things I can draw that I really find myself adding personal flair to - this one just came out after the above when I decided to draw a non-surreal something just for fun. probably 30min again

I honestly don't know what's happening with my art
well I kind of suspect my heart isn't in animu, so I'm doing some out of the box EXPLORING
