I got an email and posted an article about it, and wondered if there are any Zim fans here. Basically, Operation: Pidgeon Head and Project Massive have been getting some serious attraction.

I love Zim. There were a lot of episodes written that were never made (including one that would introduce Scooge as a main character).

If Zim came back I don't think it would have the same... "it" that made it so good back in its heyday. It'd turn into a fanservice cartoon that catered to the "Grimdark grimdark masturbates to Jack Skellington" crowd, and I don't think I could get on board with that.

Well, if Jhonen Vasquez were to be back on board, I think it would be safe. He's the kind of guy who hates his fans.

They really were gonna bring it back but nick didnt offer jhonen a big enough budget to work with so he denied it. If they cant bring it back PROPERLY he doesnt want it back at all.

I met him at a signing- he signed EVERY STUPID REQUEST people had. He was so patient and nice with every single person that walked in. People mistake his joking around for him being mean- but its just the nature of his humor. Right now if jhonen told me to go jump off a cliff and die I know him well enough to understand he would be joking. If theres fans that cannot distinguish what is a joke and what is reality then tough cookies. TOUGH MOTHERFUCKING COOKIES.

and that comic u posted does not represent the typical jhonenvasquez fan properly. ive been to a signing and his fans do not entirely consist of little girls in gir shirts. It was mostly older people actually. People who were probably a fan since the 90s when he did jthm

I respect the hell out of the guy. I know he loves his fans; who wouldn't? Though, I know for a fact he doesn't like it when people blow up everything he does out of proportion.
