Cool! Expect a random SJ message within the next month xD [or you can message me whenever to speak more about the project]

Since I'm using the student edition of illustrator, its not supposed to be used for profit. So if you had plans bigger than smack jeeves, I wouldn't really be a good fit.
I'm not really planning on publishing it, but one never knows. In this case then, would you want to help me with the story? I could use an editor that'll be like "Yo ziv, you better turn your manuscript in to me by 10pm today or else I'll burn your eyebrows off" xD

Haha, not sure I'd be much good at that. I'll have to draw you some fan art though once things get moving.

d'aww, you're our first fan! XD <3
Oh, do you happen to know how to do page layouts for smackjeeves? I haven't been able to figure it out :/

I know html and basic css, but not what smack jeeves calls all of its id's and classes. Although it would be easy enough to find out.
So... I could mess around a bit and see what happens. Do you have something in mind?
Asj wrote:I know some stuff about the Smackjeeves layouts too (especially for little things like custom rating stars or little modifications), if you need another person to help.
Have you looked at the public templates, by the way? http://www.smackjeeves.com/template_previews.php It's probably just me, but I tend to like picking a template and then modifying it to suit me (my favorite is Top Banner V2).
Also, I think most of the public templates use different names for their classes and ID's. Or at least, most of the ones I've helped with in the past had different naming conventions from one another.
Asj wrote:I'm most familliar with Top Banner V2, because that's the one I've always used, but if you like Kingly Grudge, that's fine too (I should play around with more than one type of template, anyhow).
(There's also the possibility of creating a template from scratch, but if you want to do that, it would probably be best to ask here viewforum.php?f=17 )
Is there a comic site set up for it yet? If not, I can tell you how to make a hidden site, if you want. If you do that, no one can see it unless they have the link (until you're ready for the public to see it). I have one hidden site for testing layout changes (I can give you the link to that one, if you want to work on it there).
Asj wrote:"My Webcomics" dropdown menu > "New Webcomic"
Then you have the comic profile settings window. "Comic name:", "Smack Jeeves URL:", "Hidden on Smack Jeeves:"
Check the box for "Hidden on Smack Jeeves" ^_^
