I have one. Named it Apple. It "Kweh"s at enemies and pecks them.

Also they have Aero magic in their attacks. which is awesome for a Comando class.

The best name is Boco. I giggled when I saw it was selectable.

And I swear I heard the Chrono Trigger music the first time you went into the Historia Crux thing. Chrono and Lucca should be DLC.

...wait when did I start expecting things from square enix again?

As far as DLC is concerned, I want Noel's Ezio Outfit and that on collosuem battle with Lightning to recruit her.

It's funny.

XIII-2 was getting a lot of fan complaints, and fans whining "I'll never play FF again, FF is done to me.", and yet I see people here enjoying it without a lot of complaining. Well that's good...

Fixed.

There is no way to please the FF fandom. XD

They are just a buncha babies.

I think their gripe may be centered around the pacing and battle system.

XIII-2's story pace is all over the place and people can't get past the battle system being less turn base, the fact you always have full health at the start of every battle, and the exp system is a lot like XII's Gambit system but less retarded(I.E. you don't have to expand the Crystal to wear a fuckin hat. The Crystal system increases your stats and learns skills.).

OR another possible reason is the main character isn't Lightning. It's Serah and your party consists of Serah, Noel and 4 Monsters.

These are just things people can complain about with it.
Me? I love the thing. I fixed XIII's linear flaw and included it's nice little touches.

I think it's the constant changing in tradition.

At one point, there were no towns. Now it's kind of changed to where your party members are monsters instead. I have to also say, I didn't like it when FF turned to being a MMORPG at one point.

So I played a bit of FFXIII-2 earlier and holy hell I love it. The over-the-top action and stuff at the beginning gave me the same feel that FFX failed to deliver after Toonami's review made me expect it to be way more over-the-top and crazy. The arial battle with Chaos Bahamut was just amazing, as was the fight with Caius and the QTEs.

I'm sure I'll love it even more than I expected to but with KoA being here in a few days I'm STILL contemplating trying to trudge through XIII before really putting a dent in XIII-2. I don't really want to rely on the recaps ni the sequel, and the linearity would make finishing XIII rather easy. Still unsure, but I am sure about XIII-2 easily being a favorite of mine, possibly even more than X. We'll see.

Recap of the entire XIII is the beginers Primer but Getting the feel is another thing.

Also Protip, Save 100000 Gil around the middle. You'll know why when you get there.

ANYWHO, Since I have no life, I've been hell bent on XIII-2. I'm in the final part of the game. I'm pretty sure between Tomorrow and Wendsday I'll have this game beat. Also Caias. Favorite FF Villian. MISUNDERSTOOD EVIL SONVABITCH!

I am inclined to agree, he is the Magneto of the Final Fantasy world.

Noted, I'll try and remember that.

And yeah, I'm diggin' Caius already. Especially because LIAM O'BRIEN.
He could play someone in every game ever and I'd be hard-pressed to complain.
Spoiler! :
Also purple Soul Edge.

Sooooo... Forgot to talk about this earlier after playing through the beginning but am I the only one who heard Lightning mention the Void and immediately began wishing for Gilgamesh as a Colosseum battle?

Sorta? I immediately went to Exdeath.

But I got Omega in the Colosseum from preorder bonus.

Well the problem with that is Exdeath is dead, haha. That's the wonderful thing about Gilgamesh, him popping up in every FF is actually plausible and canon thanks to him traveling the Rift after FFV. That's why he was able to appear in VIII, IX, XII, Dissidia 012, etc.
Hell, I'm still hoping that the Gilgamesh in Type-0 is the very same one that's been popping up in all the other games, though that one is more of a stretch than usual.

So hey, I think the whole "Ba-Ha-Moot" thing was exclusive to Fang because of her Accent.

Cuz when talking about bahamut I think Lightning/The narrarator called it "Chaos Ba-Ha-Mut" I should probably look into the primier to see.
