Speech Bubble changes?

Hello! This is my first time posting, and I'm a little hesitant to do so, but I am totally and completely useless in HTML/CSS. I've tried my hardest and scoured Google for the answer, but it's all technobabble to me.

I have 3 questions about the template "Speech Bubble."

1. Is it possible to change the entire colour scheme in one go, or is everything separate?
2. Will it still keep the pattern of diagonal lines if I change the colour, or will it be just the colour?
3. Is it possible to stick my banner up at the top somehow?

If someone could take the time to answer, I'd really appreciate it

It's all separate. Basically, every element of that template is an image, for example:

To change the color scheme you'd have to create your own images and use them instead of the default ones. So if you want the diagonal lines, you'll have to copy the image, recolor it yourself and then replace the old one. Sticking your banner at the top is doable--are you intending to replace the speech bubble?

Thanks so much for the reply! I guess I will replace the speech bubble, or (as you said about the diagonal lines) copy the picture and make a banner to fit it.

The reason I like the template is the layout and how everything works -- more so than any of the others. How would I go about adding everything back in the right order once I've changed them up?

To change the striped background, search in Overall Layout for this code:

And replace the URL of the image.

To replace the speech bubble and portrait, go to the Menu template and edit this code:

Again, replace the URL's with your own. The "title.gif" is the one with the bubble, the "portrait2.gif" is the one with the face.
