Hello! I am interested in creating a boy love or girl love (homosexual-centric romance) story, if you happen to have any laying around. They can be any genre, anything like that.
Samples removed due to personal reasons. Please feel free to request over PM.
Edit: I have gone a little more into depth of what sort of thing I want a couple posts down.
Really, my criteria is that it involves some sort of relationship, whether or not it's the main focus, so it's a pretty wide range. So, think about Joss Whedon's works. Yes, Buffy is technically about a girl who fights vampires, but show is much more invested in her interaction with her friends, with her enemies, and the psychological impacts of events. So, it's largely a character driven story. That's why the show can get away with doing a lot of crazy alternate reality stuff, because even though the setting is different, the characters are pretty much the same people. Then you have things like 1/2 Prince, if any of you guys have read that manga/book (I've read the manga, or at least a good chunk), where characters play a virtual reality game and a girl chooses to play a boy character. So, while that story has that setting and has the world-building aspect, the story is focused on how people react to the male character that the girl plays, and pretty much everyone developing a crush on her (so, basically a really cheesy shoujo plot, but I still love it so much). To make an example of something that relates to this topic, stories like Strawberry Panic and and Sukisyo (the ending for that anime is so bad, but I'm okay with it) are largely focused on "who's going to get together with who"? I know I've upset people by bringing up Kuroshitsuji before, but I think a lot of the attraction (at least for me) with that show is trying to figure out what kind of a relationship Ciel and Sebastian have (again, maybe it's just me, since I've seen the first, middle, and last episode, and maybe scattered clips from others, so I really don't know. I just love how both seasons end. Both are kind of twisted and unromantic, which is just fantastic.) The way I see it, there's these two characters who have completely different types of pride, and pretty much it's watching them subverting the other's authority in such a passive-aggressive way. To be honest, I'm not crazy with how the actual story plays out, and feel I could go on a rant about it, but I still enjoy aspects of it.
I hope I haven't offended any fans. However, if you are offended if you don't like some of the shows I mentioned, then that's your problem. Generally I don't like someone giving me a laundry list of problems they have with the things I use as examples, so that's something to avoid if you do contact me. I don't have a problem with anyone disagreeing with my opinions or tastes, it's just a bit belligerent to go out of your way to make negative comments about things I like. I'm mentioning this because it's happened a couple times, where someone is like " I don't see why anyone likes Harry Potter. It's so boring. But besides that I think you sound okay. Here's my ideas for a story." Just don't mention if you don't like something unless it's relevant to the conversation. That felt so snarky to write. I hope I don't come off as bitter.
