RIP MCA

RIP MCA

Postby tezzle » May 4th, 2012, 2:51 pm

After a nearly 3 year battle with cancer, Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch has died today at 47.

I have damn near every one of their albums. They've always been some of the best rappers around even into their 40s and they're three white Jewish dudes that started out as a punk band no less. I love the shit out of them.

If you've never heard their stuff give Paul's Boutique a listen it's hands down one of their best albums, but I love them all just about.
I'm Tooch now.

Anyone who's never heard Brass Monkey must have been living in a hole.

Listening to all my favorite beastie boys albums... namely every beastie boys album. This is really terrible news, it absolutely breaks my heart!

You will be missed.

I don't know much about the Beastie Boys, but they were my Parents' favorite band, so R.I.P.

This is the first Beastie Boys tune I ever heard. Truly manly tears are shed.
