I think I've removed the offending ads. Please let me know if anyone continues to get this.

Hmmm...I must have been lucky. I got this ad/virus on numerous occasions. I clicked the Back button saying "pffft, fake". No additional pop-ups appeared, my laptop didn't crash, everything was fine and dandy. Weird.
Well, hopefully Admin stopped the virus, so whatevs.

Yeah, I just got this again as well. It tries to upload binary files onto my laptop every time. Plus, it keeps showing up more and more often since the past few days that it's been found.

I think i saw it once on a school computer. I was on SJ durring Computer Skills class and right when i was about to click out of Internet Explorer to continue working on a calender, some pop-up with a red bar instead of a normal blue one came up. I saw it right when i went into my calender, so i clicked back onto IE check it out and it was gone. I'm not sure if it was it though, but it kinda seemed like it. I never seen the Trojan pop up oin my normal computer yet, but i think i've seen it a few times before, making my computer crash twice and looseing all of its memory. But then again, it could be a diffrent website i visited. I don't see many pop-ups anymore because my dad installed AOL Spyware Protection and nothing has slipped by yet... thankfully.

I've gotten it once since, but I've noticed that I'm caught much less frequently.

I've been redirected to Google Chrome's "Visiting his site may harm your computer" warning a few times while visiting comics. I even got it on the forum once because a user apparently had an avatar from a malware site.

I'm just letting whoever deals with this know, that the last two days, both around 5 o'clock UK time, I've had a Trojan Horse attempt when I'm on the site. My Antivirus has been stopping them, but it causes Firefox to freeze (But I think that could just be because of the antivirus aborting the connection).

Just letting you know.

If any technical-savvy users out there are getting this, please try to help us find the source of this when you encounter it. It's almost certainly coming from advertisements, so if you know how to drill down into the source of the page to find the chain of offending ad calls, providing us with that information would greatly help us in eliminating the problem.

This has been popping up quite frequently in the last week, never had the problem before either.

Also every now and then it will direct me to a China TV webpage or something, and then show me ford commercials. I don't know what the heck is up with that.

I've been getting that recently too. I know it used to happen a year ago to me, but then it stopped, so I thought the issue was resolved. Guess it's not.

This hasn't happened to me, and I hope it won't

but a good antivirus I recommend is Avira. My cousin got it for me, and ever since I've never had ANY virus encounters.

I fyou live in Canada, you can find it sometimes at Costco, for you other people, I don't know
