Whoo midnight
Barely made this weeks. I'm not exactly sure why, but august has been a rough and tumble month of visits, work, and then more visits. I love seeing my family, but man am I unproductive when I have guests. Here is some friday love coming at you.
I've tried to pull the whole angel/...demon? conciousness. I had lots and lots of fun drawing that panel. Also, the more I draw Jenny's hair- the more I love it. Curly hair is the best.

FRIDAY!!
I have been reading Nana online, and now I am seriously hooked! Ai Yazawa is such a hero of mine. I want to make lovely stories just like her. Both Nana's are such wonderfully flawed characters, and they love so realistically. It's very inspiring and time consuming to read all of her books. I didn't realize the manga extends past the end of the two movies!
My goal is to dress my characters with style and grace - but It's hard to do when my characters live in America. We American's lack a little something when it comes to everyday clothing. Good thing I get to introduce a new character soon. =)

This is the feeling I remember from high school
I have a lot of trouble settling on names for my characters. Usually I cycle through four or five before just picking. I want the feeling of the name to match the character- but then it becomes this huge dilemma until I settle on something. I like 'Jenny' though. I have good feelings about it.
In other news- it's sunny where I live! Hope everyone is having a wonderful friday!
