I feel like the animation makes the emotion you are trying to portray more powerful.

Ouch. Salt in a wound.

I love their expressions in the first panel. You can really see what is going through their heads.

Be still my heart! Oh I am so happy to see you back! I almost forgot how much I loved these characters. I just might go back and read it all from the beginning again.

My husband has been studying fencing and kendo and various other sword fighting styles this past year to come up with lightsaber fighting techniques for a book he's writing. He has had me help him test things a few times to see if they would make sense to someone, like myself, who doesn't know the first thing about sword fighting, and he tells me repeatedly every time that it is ok for me to hit him with my saber, but I still can't. I just don't want to hurt him. I imagine it would take a while for someone actually learning to fence to get over that.
I try to give constructive comments, but I just love everything so much it's hard to pick something to say.
I love the parallels you showed between the characters on this page, and the arrangement of the frames. Very nice aesthetics.
I'm very happy to see you back.

I love the imagery in these past few pages. That first panel on this page is especially well done. I keep looking at it and thinking "that looks so great" That's awesome" I love it.

Also, I'm sure she is, but I hope Joan is ok.

And did I mention that I'm really happy that you're back? I squealed like a schoolgirl and my husband gave me a funny look. You'd think he'd be used to me by now.

That is actually a really good solution. Unique too, as far as I can remember. I went through a "vampire phase" in high school and read all the vampire books in the library. It fits Mina very nicely.

....what kind of fanfiction...?

Man, I remember when I had to deal with that. That was way back when I lived at home and we had dial up and only one computer though... I'm dating myself aren't I?
Even though it has been established that Mina is safe it was still very brave of Joan to ask that. She's squeezing her arm pretty hard in that last panel.
I love the first panel. So cute to see drake with his team/surrogate family!

Yay! Drake's awake!

I just re-read the whole comic from the start and re-realized why it's one of my favorites. Sorry I'm not much of a commenter, but I've been a fan for several (five-ish?) years. I tend to lurk.

I absolutely love love love LOVE AngelaxAdrian! They bring me so much joy.

One of these weekends I'll have to read through it again and play the drinking game. I'll see if I can get some friends to join me. It'll be fun!

I also hope that kid is going to be ok. For Doug's sake.
I noticed the fork and it made me giggle. I just love it. Poor Archie.
I love how you made the moon move across the window like that, and Joan's facial expressions. Fabulous.

I teach (sort of) too in a charter school as a paraprofessional. It is weird to get looks from the sixth grade and middle school boys. Whenever we have big school-wide trainings the administration is always going on about professional dress, so I've developed my style for the past several years off of the desire to not be ogled by teenage boys.

I probably would have slapped Archie as well if put in a similar situation. Inappropriate, yes. Sexist, no.

I love the dramatic change between the middle panels. He can very quickly look intimidating when he wants to. And I don't think him zipping her shirt up is sexist. There is a definite line when it comes to showing too much in a professional environment, and she certainly crossed it.

I can just picture Joan tiptoeing quickly through the halls like a little kid afraid to go to the bathroom by herself at night. Except that she actually has a legitimate reason to be afraid.

She must have had a hard time sleeping.

I laughed when I noticed the chair propped against the door. Have you ever actually tried to stop someone coming through a door with a chair? It doesn't work. At all.

Second to last panel is gorgeous. I love how she's holding her rosary for extra comfort.

I adore the second panel. Drake is so great. All of their individual emotions on this page are fantastically clear and open. I can practically hear the tone Drake used in the first panel.

Good job Mina on the smooth inquiry.

I love the interactions between Drake and Mina. I hope we get to see a lot more of them together.

Drake's mood is adorably happy right now. I'm loving seeing him smile so much. I'm also very happy to see Teddy and Archie getting along so well already. I think it bodes well for their future relationship.

I can see a difference in the line art, but I only really took notice of it after you pointed it out. Overall I think it's a beautiful page.

And by the way did you mean for Archie to be saying "every once in a while" in the second panel? Thought I ought to say something.

Beautiful sky in the last panel!

I really enjoy how different they all are. Not just in appearance, but personality as well.

I love panel three. Drake looks so pleased and Archie looks so horrified. It's perfect.

I love how comfortable Drake seems with Mina. His happiness brings me joy.

Mina's face is so expressive. And Teddy and Joan's apprehensive looks are perfect.
