@Oly-RRR: I'm about to start my second semester of my junior year, so I've got a year and a half to go. By spring 2k16 I will be free!
@Oly-RRR: I'm not sure if it was entirely clear, but Roxanne isn't literally Duane's sibling-- it's just a pet name. (He does have a sister, but she's much older than him, and a lot better at keeping her shit together.)
Another update! I've been making my pages more detailed lately, so I'm looking at potentially posting pages at a slightly larger size, like this one. If any of you have any comments, let me know!

Happy New Year!

AT LAAST
AN UPDAAAATE

School has kicked my ass royally for way too long. It's winter break now, and I've got at least a few pages hoarded that are begging to be finished and posted. Thanks for not giving up on me, y'all.
@Oly-RRR: You picked the perfect time to leave this comment. I've been swamped with school and work for ages, but I'm finally working on Doublecross again. There's gonna be a new page posted tonight :)
I'm so tired of working on this page, and my mama asked me to post a new one for christmas, so here it is.
Hooooo boy. Somebody's in trooooouble.

Full disclosure: It’s also the magazine that Duane was asking Carter about on page 15 and the one he rolled his eyes at on his way to work on page 1, I just never took the time to draw the cover until now. EMBARRASSMENT. Expect edited pages in the near future to correct the continuity!
FINALLY a new page! Hoo hoo hoo and it's that handsome fella from the prologue! WHAT IS THAT RASCAL UP TO.

PS Before anyone asks, the Chinese is (probably?) gibberish.
WOW this page has been Almost Done for about two weeks and I just kept being swamped by school. I'm throwing this up here because four weeks between updates is downright unacceptable. DISHONOR...
@txen: (◡‿◡✿)
FINALLY a new page! Sorry for the long wait-- school has been hectic!

I added this one in between two pages that were already almost-finished, for clarity's sake. It felt good to make a page from scratch again after working of semi-finished buffer pages for so long. I'm also back to using Photoshop to ink, which I think is a vast improvement in both speed and fluidity.

Anyway, as always, thanks for reading!
@mikemacdee: Yeah, I think you're right, there.

I try not to edit pages once they've been posted, in order to avoid getting stuck in a loop of perpetually editing old pages, but I may take your advice for clarity's sake. At the very least, I'll keep it in mind for the future!
@Lauren: Thanks for the compliment!

Representing POC equally in my story is something that I care about, so I'm sorry that you find this particular interaction unsavory. I try to include a lot of POC in my comic, but since it's a comic that generally centers around criminals, it stands to reason that lot of bad things happen to a lot of people, both white and POC alike. Does that make sense?
Sorry for the lack of an update last week! I was hella sick and just couldn't get it done on time.

Also, we're currently stuck in Old Page Limbo. My hiatus during last semester means that I'm now stuck finishing up buffer pages that are months old. Comics are rough right now, so thanks for bearing with me while I finish up these old pages!
@Helix_luco: The southern district police department has a very small chair budget.
Coffee theft.
Whoahay, sorry for the day-late update! I'm in the middle of a super busy weekend and uploading totally slipped my mind.
@txen: I'm glad you like it
Are you shitting me, Detective.

Also, haha, you know what this means. Duane's going to have to start wearing collared shirts and ties to work. God forbid.
Duane, she is just not having any of your shit.
