Her Mom does need to calm down and not strike out as quickly...I do understand her feeling helpless, being a Mom myself. But I don't believe Rei deserved that.

I actually feel sorry for Rei that he cannot seem to maintain a relationship with any woman, and sees firing them or refusing to see them as a means to assert his dominance, or hide his hurt, or both. That does NOT mean I like him any better though!!
