Wall-of-Text incoming!
Okay, so, this page is a whole week late AND it's obviously very rushed and lazily made. I completely gave up adding various background objects just to make sure I got it out. xD
I apologize, I don't work very well with deadlines - Basically, I wait till the very last day before I begin working on it, and I risk something more important coming up (which happened this time), and then I get super stressed because I didn't finish the page and I end up boiling in frustration at myself for days before I dare touch my pen again.
SO.. to avoid this, I'm going to tell myself to work on this whenever I have time, and hopefully it'll update once a week like before - if not, hopefully I wont end up stressed out for a week about it.
From here on out it's also going to be in black and white - perhaps toned if I can figure out how to make it look nice with my new Manga Studio 5 copy (too used to MS4 >>) I'll keep some things coloured though. Hopefully the people that read this won't mind too much. ~
ALSO SOB NO POKEMON IN THIS PAGE - Next page should make up for it yesyes.
I have a very hateful relationship to Owen's hair too, maybe I can give him a makeover before he shows up again orz

@lucidfairy: Pretty mild compared to some I've read, but yes, I don't want it to be all fun and cuddly D:
@lucidfairy: Wow really? I feel honored! Haven't watched bloodsport, but maybe I should. It sounds like 'fun' :p And well.. the point of a nuzlocke is that your pokemon could die. And I'm terrible at the game.. so. yeah.

-breathes- Busy week, so I had to push working on this page to the very last moment. Never again. That one sitting was very exhausting.
Good news though! I've put up a proper schedule for when these pages that doesn't interfere with IRL obligations, and updates will now be on Thursdays. This means that the next update will be 8 days from now, not seven. I might make something extra to make up for it, but we'll see.

Part 3 woo!
I think a one week frame between updates is pretty feasible for me, and it gives me time to work on other projects and whatnot too. Still haven't settled for a day to update though.
Anyway, I may find action amazingly fun to draw, but I'm not that good at it. xD Hopefully it'll get better as the comic goes on.

I'm.. gonna.. die..
I finally finished a lot of the things I had to do this week, top priority stuff and all, and I knew that from tomorrow onwards I'd be busy, so i decided to finish this part on my off day..
Linearting and coloring this much in one setting while your hand is 'out of shape' makes said hand hurt. T^T
I tried to make change a few things about Oak, and I like him better now. And yay, the action is beginning! I didn't think it would till the next part or the one after, but for some reason the pacing I draw this is in a lot quicker than what I had in my head..?

EDIT: I changed a few things. I made Alew's name blue to indicate he is, infact, male, and then I removed the white outlines to see if it was a little more pleasing to the eyes.
I feel like I put so much effort into colouring this, yet it looks very blerg to me. T^T
It took a lot longer than I expected at first, so I was considering leaving the next pages in black and white except for special events like.. catching a new pokemon, or the VS. panel. It would also mean that updates would come out faster. Though.. if you don't mind waiting a little longer, I'd be willing to fully colour everything. x)
(I might play with this page a little more later)

I really hate "breaks", I find it so hard to get back into business. I sucked at weekends and holidays when I went to school, it just drains my motivation completely. Hopefully my computer will stay healthy this time around so I wont be forced on a break again. >>
I might attempt to actually tone this later on, but I am horrible with the Manga Studio 4 EX way of doing it. Whenever I export it, it's either greyscale or HUUUGE DOTS EVERYWHERE. I just want some light textured greys cmooon.
Updating to Manga Studio 5 when their EX version comes out though, if I'm lucky, it'll be a bit easier to tone in that.
