Sorry for not updating guys. I promise I'll try to be better about it now.
sorry >_<
oh man this page is not very good... i'm sorry guys, i got laaazy.
I didn't like this page very much. -__-"

@Yori Hayashi Chan: Haha, sorry to disappoint you but she backs out! >_<
XD
Haha I must say I rather like this page.

It suffers from chibi overload. XD
Adelé
Um, I just wanted to make a note that her name is supposed to be Adelé, with an accent on the last e. (So it's pronounced Ad-duh-lay... or something like that. XD) The font I'm using for the comic doesn't support accents though so I just decided not to put it in. >_< I tried drawing it in myself, but it just looked funky.
Thanks!
Just wanted to say thanks for all the comments guys! I am reading them and really appreciate the support :)
@betard; thank you! :D

@Kids Can Fly; um, actually he's supposed to be a guinea pig. XD But a lot of people will make that mistake so no worries. Thank you though! <3
New Reader
Holy Smokes your next and previous buttons are freaking awesome. >_<
I'm not Japanese
I would like to just clear it up right now that my story does not take place in Japan. XD It takes place in a suburb in Southern California, much like the place I grew up in. :]
splash!
Actual pages are coming soon, I promise. >_<

I officially lose at cover designing. -__- I know that this is a very simple-looking cover, but it actually took me 2 hours to do, (not including the already finished image) mostly because I didn't know what I wanted in the first place. I'm still not that happy with it, but oh well. -__-

flashback time!
It's been exactly a year since I last updated this comic.

I considered leaving it discontinued, but I couldn't. Why? Because I have a really great story planned out, and I want to finish it.

I've improved a lot in the past year, but I also don't want to change the style I've got going. I was considering redoing the pages before, but decided not to unless this miraculously gets published.

When I began this comic, I didn't take it seriously. That's why it's so sketchy. I've spent about 30-60 minutes on each page.

Basically, I want to finish this story. I can't guarantee a regular update schedule but I'm going to finish what I started.

Thanks to everybody for their patience and for reading. <3

argh
This page also went through a lot of revisions. (like 5)

The last panel bothers me still. I'm sorry that it sucks, I tried. I really did.

Busted
Okay, I basically set up an update schedule that is clearly not working for me. I'm so sorry, I actually have a lot more things to do than I expected and these pages take kind of a long time.

Initially this page was supposed to be a two page spread, but then I realized that if my comic were to be in print it would not work out. (The first page of the spread would have to be an even number.)

So I had to change it all up a little bit. (Hence the missed update(s).)

Anyway, I would like to say that things are going to run smoothly from now on... but I'd probably be lying to you all again.

Instead I'm just going to promise an update every Friday. I may/probably will update on other days, but those will be random and you'll just have to check your subscriptions or something for that.

Thanks you guys for understanding, you make this comic a whole lot more worthwhile.

tired
I've been really busy with real life stuff lately so this page is REALLY late. But it's still Friday!

It's almost midnight but I was determined not to break schedule. XD

sloppy
This page has given me too much trouble. XD I think this is the third version.

I'm also getting sloppier. (I hope you can't tell >_<)

If anybody is having trouble understanding what is going on, please let me know so I can work on making it more clear. I know that even though I understand what's going on, it might not make any sense to the reader. I appreciate all feedback! (Thank you to Sam4books :])

Anyway, I present page number four!
(We're making rapid progress, aren't we. *sarcastic*)

BTW the pile of round stone thingies in the first panel is part of a lamp.

So I seriously dislike the chibi I drew at the bottom left. I wish I had more "creative" chibis. I actually don't like drawing chibis as much as I do "regular" people. Miss Svetlana (sp? author of Dramacon) has the most adorable chibis ever and I wish they were mine.

I had a massive style change from Failing Sense. (I will finish it sometime, I promise.) Well, actually, the thing is... depending on the story, I draw in the way I feel would best fit the "mood". I don't know how I'm going to get back to Failing Sense, but I will. I feel like it has one of the best stories I've ever come up with.

Most of my good story ideas come from me making it up as I go along. I've found that if I figure out the entire story before I draw it, I get bored. I usually don't know the story too far, just some of the events that I want to occur. It isn't until about the middle of any of my (good) stories do I figure out how the ending fall together. At least this way I can't give away any spoilers.

But my working habits will probably be bad if I ever want to (which I do) go professional.

The day I'm uploading this is actually Sunday, but I'm going to be gone the whole week, and I didn't want to miss an update so early in the game (again). So here's me, being a good little webmanga-artist and sticking to the schedule. Hoorah.

(I'll be impressed if you read all that.)
