Haha the wall thing is a problem for me too :). You're still young though, so it can still be fixed, and it should be addressed sooner than later, before the people around you become more distant via jobs, family, etc. I'm starting college soon and socializing is a resolution for me :).

I'm super sorry about bringing this up in the comment section (:X) but I wanna give you some support.
Having a homophobic father is difficult to deal with if you're gay, hopefully there might be a time where you can "come out of the closet" to your family and not deal with too much drama.
As a bi-sexual myself and coming from a Republican Vietnamese-American family, I hope for the best for you.
P.s. Money is indeed a great distractor.
