I've been wanting to be a comic artist/author my whole life. I feel like this will be a great start to get people to notice my work.

I'm in the process of working on a comic right now, but I won't be able to put any completed work on here until I get a tablet and Photoshop. For now I'm working on the storyboard and lineart.

The cover is so beautiful! Was it colored digitally?
Ah~ I'm finally on page 30! All the screen tones are digital here.
I started using digital screentones. They don't quite have the same look as traditional tones, but I'm getting used to them.
I'm trying to get back into working on this comic regularly. My work schedule is irregular, so I can't guarantee I'll be able to upload on certain days.
@tiffpascal: Most of my screen tones are hand cut! There were a couple pages where I did them digitally, since I was running out of tones, but I prefer traditional. I'm so glad you like the architecture! I had so much trouble with that, because perspective is not my strong suit. I have a lot of trouble with lines smearing too. Thank you so much for your comment!
I only just started reading, but I like it so far! It looks like you put a lot of work into the art and coloring. Was it drawn by hand and then colored digitally? I want to mention that I liked the main girl immediately. Introducing her in a trash can was so quirky and cute!
Introducing Daniel, the butler.
I'm happy with how Cherise turned out in the last panel. Comments and critiques are encouraged.
I hope the shock factor of the first couple pages makes people want to read it and does not scare people away. For this page, I tried testing out what it would look like with a red, black, and white color scheme. I decided against it and went with a black and white style with lots of crosshatching in order to give it the feeling of a Victorian engraving.
This was my first time drawing a chandelier. The four colored candles symbolize the four main characters.
Here I go starting yet another manga. I have to persevere and keep this one going for a while. I have a bad habit of giving up on my comics. I hope you all like my characters and my story. <3 These characters mean a lot to me, and I'm very happy about how they turned out. Oh, and if the page looks a little... bland, that would be because I don't know how to makes screen tones...
@Derpa: Yes, the movie was based on the novel. ^^
I'm sorry about taking long to upload. I've had so much college work to do lately. This page also took me a while since the characters weren't doing anything but talking. And that last panel was giving me problems.
Those lilacs were such a pain to draw. I hope they look nice.
@bowmane3: Thanks. I think it's going to look different everytime I draw it. xD
I don't really have much to say about this page... except that it's page 10! That's an accomplishment for me. I'm expecting chapter one to be a little over 20 pages.
I tried to capture the descriptions Wilde uses to describe how Henry moves his hands in musical motions as he talks. I also wanted to make this page look dreamy and mystical with the smoke from Henry's cigarette, to show that Dorian is being captivated by Henry.
I apologize for making my characters look like totally different people in every panel. It's a habit of mine. It also took me a while to figure out what I wanted Henry to look like. I'm finally happy with his appearance on this page. He probably looks completely different from what he looked like on page 1. ^^;
I felt the need to give his eyes cat-like pupils because it makes him look more... mischievous.
@bowmane3: Thanks so much! :)
@bowmane3: Great! :D
