What's this? I live, and so does Out There! Check back for weekly updates, and more than weekly if I can handle it.

For all that has been going on in my life, this is a story that I really want to get told.

I'm not fond of this page, I know it wasn't worth the wait, but I hope that in the future, pages will be.

Thanks for reading!

Yea, I know I'm almost a week late with this page, but hopefully it won't happen to much more often. In fairness to myself, I don't think it looks too bad for a page that was penciled in an emergency room. Good times.

Art wise, I was playing around with more cartoony expressions in this page. I'm not sure how often I'll end up using them in the rest of the comic, but I think they worked out alright in this page.

No spot coloring in this one. I'm not sure if it really makes any difference.

Peace!

I have lived to update again! I am going to update at least once a week, on Tuesdays. If I am feeling ambitious or think that I have a big enough back log built up I will try to post a page on Fridays as well. I'm looking forward to getting through the introduction chapter and into the action itself.

So, I learned a little late in the game that there is more to lettering a comic than just putting words in bubbles. Like...a lot more. Feedback of any kind is always appreciated, but feedback on the lettering would be especially helpful.
IN particular: Does the font work all right? Can you read it okay? Can you tell what order the dialogue is supposed to be read in? and the like.

I decided to make up for the lack of text on the other pages by putting a bunch of it on this page =D

It's snowing.
I have decided that walking to class in the snow sucks. But hope you enjoy the new page anyways. I'll try to have the next one up my tomorrow, but as I have a term paper due, I can't make promises about that. If not tomorrow, the day after that. And I screwed this one up. His hand is way too big for his butt. I am CB's dramatic failure at anatomy.

Peace!

I'm trying to decide what to do for NaNoWriMo, namely if I want to write, or draw comics. as I've just gotten this one off the ground, I'm leaning towards drawing comics. Especially since if I can manage 30 pages a day in a month, that should give me a nice backlog for when things get busy-- specifically, when I have finals the second week of December.

This image came out looking a lot different than it did in my mind, and I'm not sure that's for the better. I don't particularly care for it, but it's what I've got right now. So it goes.

I hope to have the next page up tomorrow. I had initially planned to post the first page on Halloween, but I've never really been known as a patient person, and I got ahead of myself.

And mad props if anyone can name that skyline.

Thanks for reading!

Let's Get This Party Started
Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, may I present...Out There!

This project has been a long time in the works: I started writing the script and working on character designs about this time last year-- The script was my National Novel Writing Month Project. It's been a good nine years since I've tried to do a web comic. I gave it a shot a while back and did manage to stay with it for a good two years before abandoning it.

This is also how I learned the value of planing before writing. See, I realized that I had been working on it for close to two years, and I still had no plot so to speak of. That and it was basically an X-Men rip-off. So that idea got scrapped.

Hopefully I have lived and learned since I was 16.

I might be a little erratic with updates at first, while I am figuring out just how quickly I can get pages done. I am going to try for at least twice a week. I want to get more than 52 pages a year out, but I don't realistically think that more than two a week are happening at this point.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the comic, and even if not, feedback is always appreciated.

Peace out,
CB
