That wasn't the Russian's strategy. That was a coincidence. The Russian's strategy in THAT war was the same as their strategy in EVERY war. Retreat, retreat, retreat, circle around the enemy, cut off their supplies, and finnally take them from all sides. Sort of like how bacteria eat. It works because Russia is unimaginally large. It was made worse, or better(depending on who you ask) by the fact that only the Russians could work in the harsh Russian Winter. All things aside however it IS a good strategy to have more soldiers, robots, etc. than your enemy has ammunition.
