but it's been a while since I've updated anything so I kinda understand if you noticed things now that you didn't before (like the ponponpon room! hehheh!!)

Return~! All the old pages have been edited, and the latest two are being redone because I was struggling so bad around that time.
Next page I'm going to offer a really long comment explanation pertaining to Paris's logic, because it's really important that this isn't misconstrued as 'mentally ill people shouldn't take meds'
the thing is, since we're listening to a biased, flawed and irrational character (who has a valid point but is still all of those things) it's easy to forget that their views aren't always my views <3

actually I don't lol
I took a long break from art. Basically, I was discouraged. I spent a long time writing what I thought (and still think) was a great story, and I had spent years in school trying to refine and perfect my style and was still leagues behind where I wanted to be. And the average page of Stabilizer was just some time-consuming and depressing to draw because it didn't come naturally to me. This was me trying my damn hardest to draw the best I could, and I was still falling short.
I don't think I'm anywhere near perfect now, but I feel better. I understand my limits and my strengths, and I'm going to play to those instead of dwelling on everything I do wrong, and so far I've made a lot of leaps forward in the art department already.
The main issue here is, of course, my style has changed. Then again, looking at this comic, style shifts are obviously not unexpected so I think I can continue where I left off and only make minor adjustments to previous pages (doing stuff like drawing Paris's glasses because I just want him to have them, fixing a few awkward anatomy issues) and then I should be able to push forward with a slightly more simplified coloring style (for the most part)
in the mean time, thank you everyone who stuck around or even faved in my absence. your support means a lot to me and I love you all. <3

taking one because I'm really upset with my art, and you guys deserve a fair warning. I'm really trying to like drawing again but I've just been so down on myself it's near impossible to get a page done. Hopefully I'll overcome it soon, like I said, and this story certainly isn't dead because the entire thing is written and it's -really good- which I think is my main problem...I'm not good enough to draw it :(

Sorry for the late page, I really had trouble with this one. I got my friend Karen to sketch some composition ideas for me, in the end I'm still not fully happy with the result but I had to get the page done, I'm not going to let one page hold back the whole comic lol.

Wow, it's been a while. Hope I'm logged in, half the time I'm not. But anyway, I like reading POY in chunks because it's that kind of story, you know? I really have a lot of respect for Vivian. She's a badass bitch and she will fuck you up.
As for pages past- The whole Michelle/Kara dynamic was really cute. I think your art is going through some mad improvement too, especially in the coloring department. Keep it up Gibs, I will try to comment more regularly and let you know I support you ;D

I agree entirely- sometimes I feel the style shifts are too harsh or intense, but it's something that will definately dull down as time goes on, for multiple reasons :D But for now, I do have fun trying to juxtapose the different feelings and styles and make them mesh.
The entire story is planned and written out, so I'm glad it's starting to come together. I think it'll make even more sense when these first three chapters are through :D
