I have ferrets, I like food, and I ski.
I watch too many cartoons and I hate drawing cars.
Dragons are my favorite of all things.
Besides comics, I like to make illustrations/paintings.

Thank you for reading this far!
It's been great to have you along for the ride.
Funny the comic should end on my birthday. But yeah it's my birthday ;)
Well it's been fun, But I think it's time to retire Limboland for a little while. There's a chance I'll come back to these guys, they have a place in my heart and I have lots of ideas for other Limboland stories. But there's other projects and ideas that have been left on the back burner for long enough. I'm also interested in starting a comedic slice of life comic.
Thanks again for your love and support.

Meh, they deserved it.

@Kantuck Nadie: Just thinking about Trump makes me feel icky. When I wrote the script for the comic, I had no idea it was going to land around election time. I'd forgotten honestly and then of course we have this crazy election. So I feel kinda bad for having a voting story, got the timing really bad. At least it's just about cake.
I'm an environmentalist/feminist and supporter of POC and LGBTQ, so yeah Trump's not my favorite person at all. My Peers and I plan to keep active and alert during the next four years to fight the waves of intolerance, but it is scary.

So what's with the voting thing? This whole part of the story is based off a real life experience. My partner comes from a very er..politically involved family, a family that loves boardgames, and best of all, open and methodical discussion which includes, voting. We had something like 10 people wanting to do something fun for Ed's sister's birthday, and instead of just you know letting her pick the activity of the day, we had to vote on it. But first we had to figure out, how to vote on it, which in the turn meant figuring out how to vote on that. Me coming from a family that makes decisions quickly if not always fairly, well..I was tearing my hair out, but the point is that the whole process is fun for his family, so in turn it's fun for me. But boy it's best to avoid decision making in that family. And well in this case of cake, my limbo-critters are even worse decision makers.

Hullo everyone: You guys have been so awesome, I made sure to color this page for you and I hope you enjoy the weird anime eyeballs. I once worked at a german bakery and we made most of these cakes. But boy something about pistachio marzipan, it's like crack, but I can't say no to a Boston cream, or hazelnut. And I've always wanted to try a moon cake. The peppermint cake kind of scares me.
Plain and Simple

Styxx's personality has evolved a lot since I first scribbled him up. Now he, more or less represents my inner greedy (My often cynical and selfish side)
So of course he and I share the same favorite cake.
Peanutbutter cream filling with chocolate ganache.
I've contemplated naming Styxx Reese, I love the combo so much.
I have another favorite cake, one that I didn't discover till I worked at a cake bakery. I gave that cake to Frazzles, who represents my whimsy playful side. Figuring he might have more eccentric tastes.
All in all though cake is pretty good. Not a fan of city market cake with loads of white gritty frosting, and can't stand fondant. What's the deal with that stuff?

the Last Limboland Story
Thanks for sticking with me so far. Hope yer Ready for a new Limboland Story! It has a whole bunch of new characters in it I hope you'll like.
So FYI There is a very good chance that this will be my last Limboland story. At least for a while.
Don't worry I'm going to finish this arch! But once it's done I may take a break from making comics.
Well, I'd like to make a living making art. I've been told many times that I'd be a good illustrator, so that's my goal. I want to make a killer portfolio and become a freelance illustrator. *GULP*
BUT! I'm spending all my time making Limboland comics.
Don't get me wrong, Limboland has been great for me. I've learned a lot art wise, and I love my characters. As a personal project it's been very satisfying.
But if I continue to make webcomics forever, then I'll have to keep these part time jobs (usually working retail or coffee shops) just to get by. I'm sure many of you understand.
When I started I imagined printing books and selling at cons, building a huge fan base, and a modest patreon page. But honestly with printing costs, travel costs, and table costs. It's time consuming with little reward.
Mostly I really miss making illustrations. I've put all my other projects on back burners to make Limboland.
For those of you who may be concerned, my characters aren't going anywhere. I have a lot of illustration ideas involving Styxx and Frazzles and their friends.
I just won't have a weekly updated comic.
Of course chances are, eventually, I'll get that comic bug, and have to make more stories. Perhaps I'll give myself time to improve my art and go at it again later.
Till then I need to practice some fundamentals, Build a better portfolio, and see about becoming a professional who can actually make some money to live. Oooh adulting!
I'm very sorry to have to be all artsy and flaky on you. Especially those of you who have been so supportive.
I just wanted to give you a heads up.
I'm going to change my patreon page, so it focuses less on limboland and more on general art things.
Thank you all for reading! And I hope you'll stick around for the end of this story. It has a pretty good punchline So yeah...I think anyway.
Lots of Love!

This is the last of the fan art. Next week the comic begins!
I had originally scheduled another artist to be featured today, but for unseen circumstances she wasn't able to finish in time.
So my boyfriend gave drawing a shot! I think it's pretty damn cute for a guy who's maybe drawn five times within our seven year relationship.
It's Lefty at his Lost and Found Office!
Which is perfect because the next comic is all about Lefty.
So give Ed some love, not bad for a noobie artist. And I'll see you next week!
September 21st, 2016
Thank you! I really hope it'll take off soon. It's hard to be motivated to make comics when all you hear is crickets, but it's worth it if I can make even a couple of people laugh.
And no worries, I'm right there with ya, everyone I know is broke including me. Comments, and page ratings and letting your friends know about the comic is a great way to support it if you can't financially. There's comics and artists I'd like to support too, but like you, I'm saving my money.

True, rarely would that be acceptable for these two. They will find Something to eat...
September 21st, 2016
Yay thank you so much! I hope you'll like em, They're really a....Diverse bunch!
September 21st, 2016
mmm I love all those cakes. I think I pretty much love cake so long as it's not plain vanilla or with fondant frosting...
Grandle Fan Arts
September 21st, 2016
Isn't this awesome! I love how creepy Styxx looks, and of course Frazzle's Tail Stars! If you love it as much as I do, please check out more of her work, she's amazing with color, and has a lot of cool creative characters.
On the agenda: Next week is another guest artist feature, then we'll start the next Limboland story on the 7th of October!
See you next Friday! Thanks for reading :)

: Not a problem, I'm the same way with internet unfortunately.
I agree I love the tactile feeling of holding a physical comic book in my hand. And it's a dream of mine to someday print a Limboland book.
But as printing costs are so high and it's so difficult to sell and make money from comics. It'll have to wait. Hopefully if the comic builds up enough of a following I can possibly start a kick starter page to fund the publishing of a few books.
I do have a patreon account, and that can help too if I'm able to build a following. Till then I'll just have to keep posting comics. Hopefully They'll get better and more interesting and maybe by then I'll have enough fans willing to support a physical Limboland book. :)

Thank you all for reading Limboland! I have updates coming soon. Meanwhile enjoy the lovely artwork, by my good friend Shawn Nunn. We go way back and I was really pleased to see my characters done in his style.

I Love Chips!
That's the end of this story arch.
I have to apologize if the story seems to end so abruptly.
This was my first effort at a much longer story arch, and having just sorta winged it, I wrote myself into a corner. Aw Man those corners!
Well anyhow it ends with french fries, and that's not a bad thing...I do love chips...
So what's new?
The next couple of weeks I'll be featuring some comic fan art. So prepare yourself for awesome artness from awesome artists!
I'm also excited to bring you a new story that will feature all of Styxx and Frazzle's close friends. I hope you'll like these new characters, as they are fun to draw. Also Mildew will be re-appearing. The strange saggy titty witch creature back the in Univac1 comic, yes the scary one. I've re-designed her and she's now one of my faves! Oh and don't worry the ending will be much better!
And if you haven't noticed. The new website design allows you lovely readers to rate comic pages. Yay! So if you have a favorite page you think is good, I'd love it if you could give it a kind rating.
For the next comic the food theme will be cake so...
In the comments, do you have a favorite cake? what's the best piece of cake you've ever had, or the worst cake!
Let me know.
Lots of love and of course, Thanks for reading!

Template Design tests for Limboland Comic

Thank you I'm so glad you like it.
I was thinking of building a collection of stories and bundling them together and printing them off in one volume if that's what you mean?
April 16th, 2016
Hullo my chipies! Thank you for sticking with Limboland so far! I hope you'll like this new story!
Some FYI, when I started making Limboland comics I had no intention of sharing them online. I was just going to print off a book or two for my family and maybe sell em at comic conventions. I made this fishing story a long time ago, then put it on the back burner when life got crazy. When I decided to put Limboland online as a web comic, I dusted it off, and finished it.
While my other episodes have been posted on my art website, doodlepadart.com, and are now old hat, this story is new. Even though it isn't new... if that makes sense?
I'm currently working on newer episodes and I'm excited to share them with ya.
Enjoy, Love ya lots!
