I just read the whole archive in one sitting, and I can't count how many times I almost
fell off my chair laughing or how many times I had to pause for a while to prevent the
onslaught of a nosebleed.
Can't say it's wholly original, but it IS lighthearted and funny, and therefore, very much enjoyable. :) (Not to mention your drawing skills are pretty darn sweet!)
As for those who don't enjoy this stuff, screw 'em. The Internet is full of webcomics, and they shouldn't read one that they're not interested in. Let's respect the fact that people have different tastes.

I haven't actually read the play, but I know the mythology with which it's based. Oh yeah,
and Oedipus does marry his mother. That's why Oedipus complex is a term for someone who's
attracted to his own mother or is someone who's attracted to a person who reminds him of
his mother.
On a completely unrelated note, I GUESSED THE NEW BOOK RIGHT!! *does a celebratory dance* Why don't YOU crank that Soulja Boy... jnjnfgidfbjgfjg....
