Farewell, Pigzilla! Thank you for your entertaining antics!
The cover's great -- just the right amount of over-the-top to match your super-sized parody. I've enjoyed reading through what you've posted so far -- funny stuff! Keep it up! Looking forward to more angst-ridden pages...
Ah, domestic bliss...
Looking forward to it!
My son agrees with your sentiments...
That is one of the great mysteries of life... :)
I just imagined what would happen if a crab tried to wipe its eyes -- I figured it wouldn't go so well...
That's great! I love those little kid drawings, where the arms and legs stick out of a head-body. Pigzilla's face is classic as he watches the satellite coming down -- he's like, doh!
That will be my son in a few years (once he's behind a real wheel -- yikes!)...

@ Ian: Thanks! I was so excited to discover how to type on a picture!
no worries on lost comments...
I like the resizing -- much easier to look at! I love how Pigzilla either stops havoc or destroys stuff -- never know what you're going to get!
...or with a pacifist's hair!
That was my dad at Sunday services when I was a kid. It used to embarrass my mom so much, especially because they sat in the front row (only place left because we were always late), and when the air conditioner would kick on he'd jerk awake and jump up in confusion.

BTW, I'm enjoying your comics -- funny and insightful. Congrats on getting syndicated!
Just can't keep him down...
@Ian: Thanks for being a fan! I'll have to come up with some strips where the ants get to be front and center (instead of just as aphid farmers). I meant for everything in "Up Close" to be about the world of tiny creatures, but now and then the big guys are going to sneak in (note duck and fox).

The title speaks for itself...
I'm new to the comic world, too. Have always loved The Far Side, Calvin and Hobbes, etc. I've been playing with different formats -- full page, half page, but for uploads, I've found it works pretty well to scan in my pictures, then I can crop them to size and save in Web format on Photoshop. I think a lot of people create theirs on the computer, but I'm not that savvy! Good luck and I look forward to seeing more of your stuff...
Nice job on your class assignment -- very creative! Black Parade is one of my favorite songs.
True fact
Pea aphids will sometimes explode themselves to scare off or kill a predator. Sacrificial sap suckers...
True fact
Affectionately known as the "boogie woogie" aphids, beech blight aphids will wave their fuzzy bottoms threateningly in the air, in unison, when disturbed. Run for your lives, predators!
