@Yan Mouson: Consent is a complex issue. The law seems to mainly focused around using force to get sex without their consent is illegal. On the other side if explicit consent given and the person is capable of revoking it, you are the good. Between those two extremes are gray area of probably ok to impolite to near rape.
Then consent get complex. Statutory rape laws are based on the idea that an adult automatically has power over a minor. Some mental hospital polices assume the mentally ill may not be able to meaningful give implied consent because they not be able to say 'no' (For example a depressed person that can barely move). Then there Stockholm syndrome which is a very gray area, can a sufferer meaningfully give consent to his or her captor.

@Yan Mouson: First of all I agree "my hardships are just God testing me" mentality is ridiculous because God's love is unconditional.
That being said everyone doesn't have the same hardships because everyone is not the same. Those that 'seem' to not have any serious hardship in there life fall into two categories either you didn't see their hardship or yet to face it. To be fair some people are very good at hiding their problems.
I'm guessing that the trying to control deck power via rarity comes from Yu-gi-oh because as I understand it a magic mythic rare is comparable to a common just more Timmyish or Johnnyish or more complex.
Attempting to control deck power via card rarity doesn't work because of card reselling. If the kid with the most money almost always wins then kids stop playing (at least in tournaments). Now if it is harder to play life or death I can see wizards of the coast doing something like this. So either Alexis doesn't understand the downsides to playing life or death or this game has balance issues.
@GreenKrog: humanism rejects the existence of God or the afterlife. What I am talking about is doing good for some reward (possibly in the next life) until it becomes part of you. At which point the doctrine becomes a guide in as much as represents collective wisdom.
In terms of dogma(incontrovertibly true) I hold only love god and love your neighbor as yourself as the only absolute moral truths (I hold other things to be true but they are metaphysical or historical). "Thou shall not kill": Ancient Israel was commanded by God to wage war. Nephi was command to kill Laban. Admittedly these were edge cases but that's the point they were exceptions to the rule. Thence the rule isn't incontrovertibly true.
Man can't serve two masters and that goes for doctrine and commandments as well. The two great commandments work is because the first tells to follow the second and the second tells how to act in all cases it doesn't conflict with the first (see my comments on "Eph" for my thoughts on the first commandment and hate). The rest of the law just gives us good rules of thumb that we should follow in most cases but don't have to if they conflict with either of the two great commandments. Again like training wheels.
