Hey all, it's that time again. Time to unveil another great page by another talented artists. Sorry this one's a little on the late side, but I slept in this morning...alot.
Today's unique page comes to us from twentytortures, the author of the deeply contemplative comic Canonball Soup

Of course I must really sound like a broken record, but If you have not signed up to do a page yet I would strongly advise you to. There are still many pages left in chapter One but the list is getting shorter and shorter. Remember, everyone who participates in Chapter One will receive a special PDF of the comic. This PDF will also include artist profiles, concept sketches of the different characters, and a copy of the complete Chapter One script. This is a participant only offer, so please, do a page and enhance your experience.

seventy2, of the comic Ninja Wedding, http://www.drunkduck.com/Ninja_Wedding/index.php officially wins the Bark Hollow super-platinum artist award for his third contribution to the comic in this chapter. From his first page, and his unique design for the comic's figurative hero, Lenach, he has shown a stalwart devotion to the project, always willing to do a page or promote the comic on Drunk Duck's forums. Hey all. Big things are about to happen in the comic. I know I've probably said something to that effect before,but this time I mean it.Of course, I won't tell you exactly what those big things are, you'll just have to wait and see for yourselves.
In today's update, an_artist makes his triumphant return to the comic with a fantastic page featuring the first official rendition of Leena based on the costume and character design by Iah Ansgar and the colors conceived by my brother jiminycricketX. JCX will be doing next weeks page. I've seen the penciled version and I must say it's going to be fantastic.
Although the comic hasn't quite gotten underway you can sample an_artist's other work here:

In other news, I mentioned last week that I was planning a special gift for everyone who participates in chapter one. After giving it some thought I have decided what that gift will be. I will assemble a PDF file containing the entire first chapter of the comic, including the prologue, as well as some of the concept art by our various artists and artist profiles for everyone who participates. This PDF will only be available to Bark Hollow artists so if you haven't signed on yet, now's the time to do it.

I really love the way this page is colored, it perfectly captures the mood I had imagined for the festival sequence. Future Bark Hollow artists should look to this as a template as they work on the remainder of this chapter.
Speaking of which, now is the perfect time for me to irritate you with my groveling pleas to join up and do a page. If you have been toying with the idea now is the time, within the next couple of months big things are going to happen within the plot. You can get in on this project at the ground level and go down in the annals as one of our chapter one artists.
I'll let you all in on a secret. I'm planning some kind of thank you for all of the artists who participate in this chapter. I'm not sure what yet, but it will be a pleasant little something to show how much I appreciate your hard work.

Todays comic introduces us to Leena, Lenach's elder sister, and Gavin's wife and mother of thair daughter Jannae and her soon to be little sister/brother. As the wife of the town's barkeep Leena is essentially a sort of matriarch to the whole village.
